Since you mentioned the preview 29, I went and checked it out. Such adorable and cute moments from the couple. I can't find preview 30 but that's ok. I don't want to see them breaking up ;(

Me too. I'm glad to see ChuMu show up again after his disappearance and the drama is getting lighthearted again for the time being. Now, I see why ChuMu wants Rou to fake her death to get out of this sticky situation. Yeah, can't say enough how disgusting and despicable Prince Liang is. I don't see much importance Prince Liang bring to the story so not sure why the writer wrote him in. He's such an awful person and I gag every time I see him on screen.

Ep 24 is very interesting....hmmm, can't wait for the next one.

That's him. We'll wait to find out how evil he is. Based on the trailer, he marries Lu YingYing. It looks like Lu YunJi sold his daughter to Prince Liang in order to get his favors. Lu YunJi is also trying to side Crown Prince. All the evil people are teaming up. It doesn't sound so good...yet the plot thickens...lol.

Rou has a very strong backing from the Empress. She will try everything to protect Rou. Although I don't like the way prince Zhou stalks and forces Rou, I have a feeling deep down he really cares for her and would not put her in jeopardy. Yan ZiFeng is another of her support. Fu Yin will end bad with the way she's heading and Rou will become stronger as a result to protect her loved ones.

Chumu has support from the emperor although his support is not as strong as Rou. Chumu's character is still under-developed. ChuMu and Rou are clueless of what's to come so I see many sacrifices from Chumu and Rou's family for them to eventually realize that they need to take actions.

Yes, but the drama depicts life in the palace and people scheming for power. Life in the palace is miserable so obviously there will be more evil guys than good guys. Even good guys eventually will turn dark so they can defend themselves and survive against the evil guys. It's like survival of the fittest.

Also, the plot is thickening and turning dark to build up the climax of the story. We've seen cute and funny scenes from the beginning. and now it's turning deep to get the plot going. As a result, I think we'll see more character development, especially ChuMu and Fu Rou to fight against the evilness. There's a new group of people that was introduced in ep 22 and they dislike the emperor. There's also another high ranking official that popped up in ep 22. Oh, and then there's Prince Liang also. They all are evil guys. Nonetheless, I believe ChuMu and Fu Rou will outsmart them. It'll be painful during the middle part but it'll be a nice ending.

It'll get darker once Prince Liang comes into play. I see that he is a nasty character.

Just finished ep 22. The plot is getting more exciting. The depth of the story is transforming into something more deep and sophisticated.

It must be King Liang. I saw preview ep 21. King Liang is hitting on Ru Fou.

She is starting to join more variety shows and if she selects only quality scripts, I hope her talent will be recognize as she is indeed a good actress.

Fu Rou's being the best looking female in Guangzhou and smart too. She has both the looks and the brain, no wonder men are forcing their ways to get her left and right...lol.

Well, the FL is known for the best looking lady in Guangzhou and in addition being smart, who doesn't want to chase her? She got the looks and the brain. I would chase her also is I'm a man...lol.

I saw on Weibo that Gong Jun had accepted this drama 2 months ago before he became popular.

Must be some devastating reasons that Fu Rou left Chumu to return to the palace after the wedding, I'm guessing it has something to do with her family. Chumu must be resentful towards Fu Rou after she left him. That explains why some of the scenes where Fu Rou and ChuMu have some issues on the 2nd trailer (ex. Chumu pointed his sword to her, Fu Rou walked past ChuMu and ignored him.) Sounds like the plot gets better and better later on.

It's definitely worth watching. It starts out with humor for several episodes then the plot will gradually build up with lots of twists and turns. I say enjoy the comedic scenes while it lasts as it will get serious in the later episodes. Li Yi Tong does great in expressing of different emotions naturally in this drama.

2nd trailer shows FuRou's wedding with ChuMu so no concubine to the prince. Plus, FuRou is way too smart for the prince.

It's only 15 ep left after the wedding supposedly around ep 30. There always will be struggles and fighting for power in the palace within the harem, with the princes, and with Lu's family vs Sheng's family. I think Chu Mu and Fu Rou will join together to fight the villains after their marriage as they're stronger as a team. I can see the wife (the pregnant one) of the Crown Prince turns dark with all her schemes and lies. Plus, the crown prince's friend is also a threat. He was wearing an army suit fighting against Chu Mu in the 2nd trailer. There's yet much more to be seen as plots are being revealed gradually.

Logically speaking, yes. Ep 17&18 mentioned about marriage but of course it won't happen that fast as the usual Cdrama goes, there is always something happens first to create a climax in the plot. I'm guessing weddings will be around ep 30 or so. The arrest might happen around ep 20-25. Ep 26-29 is to resolve the misunderstandings before the marriage occurs. That's my blind speculation. It may come true...lol!!!
