Now you mentioned it, I looked back at the second trailer and it does look like it. The 3rd prince so far is a good person. He may turn dark because the rejection and no reciprocation of love from the FL. The second trailer has many spoilers. I'm piecing them together as I watch along each episode.

I'm done with episode 10 and saw the previews for ep 11 & 12. If you're looking for dramatic and schematic plots, it's already here once FL enters the palace and ML gets drafted to the villain's troop as a General. Very little humor going forward and it's getting serious. For anyone's interested to know about the love triangle for the FL, the 3rd prince is starting to court her and he is adamantly taking no for an answer even the FL rejected his offers. He even is aware that the FL has a sweetheart. Another love rival for the ML is the FL's thought-to-be-dead child friend. He is really infatuated with her. Both ML's love rivals are very strong opponents. The 3rd prince is book smart with tactical skills. He is soft yet strong in his pursuits. The child friend is good in martial arts and he came from the royal family also but not quite skillful in his wits to chase the FL. He mostly uses his force, which normally ends in disappointments as the FL is very smart and ethical. She does not like force and admires intelligent/knowledgeable men. Outsmarting her is the way to go and the 3rd prince has that capability. He does it playfully and tactically. I like the way the 3rd prince's courtship vs the ML's way as it doesn't seem childish to me.

Not heavy on comedy at all. I haven't seen any serious moments yet but based on the trailers, those moments will come later.

Watched to episode 8. I love it so far. It's a gradual build up of the storyline and characters. ML dropped his playboy style and becoming a real man. FL is smart and collective. Love the cute scenes between the two leads. The production is expensive with beautiful traditional buildings and clothing.

I'm also a huge fan of Li Yi Tong like some of you noted below. I'm glad this one is comedic since LYT tends to star in sad roles with so much crying. The worst one is Royal Nirvana. Wish she takes more roles with happy ending like DT Appledog.

Also, the transition is so disconnected from the emotional point of view.

The emotions building up that you feel from the actors leading up to the war quickly dissipated once it was replaced by the drawings.

I absolutely agree. The constant drawings lower the quality of the drama and it's really annoying every time I see it. It's stuck in my head now that every time a war scene is coming up, here comes the drawing again...argh!

The use of CGI to portray the war and fight scenes is so off putting. It looks like a cartoon...should have used real people to feel the effect, the expressions, and the authenticity of the war zone.

One day away and yet no news or confirmation. Looks like March 19th is no go.
