one of the few positive things i can say about this show is it finally sold me on aou and boom as a pairing. they were actually really sweet and i could feel way more of an emotional connection between their characters (even with very limited screentime) than i could watching hours of zo and joke tbh.

I stopped watching this series at ep 3 cause I got bored. Did it end up getting better and should I try to continue…
boring all the way through imo

Does anyone have any idea on which series is replacing this??
Another rerun probably, I think GMMTV would've announced it by now if it was a new series.

Why it's showing as 8 eps have aired but it's actually 7 in reality
Not sure, the show is confirmed now as 8 episodes so I've submitted to have the total episodes changed. Hopefully that'll fix the countdown as well.

Title Hayabusa Fire Brigade Spoiler
Almost everything is clear IMO, it's enough to wrap it up in 1 episode. Just a bit disappointed with the twist…
Yeah I agree with you about the twist in episode 7, it wasn't exactly how I expected it to play out.

We still need the background on the "Holy Mother" but yes everything else is clear. So creepy how they have set up Aya-chan as her successor... hopefully Taro can get through to her somehow.

I guess I'm just wondering how this will end. Hayabusa has been taken over by the cult essentially, perhaps there will be more of an open ending. The cult seem too powerful to be driven out of Hayabusa.

tbh the story was just weak and messy imo, and the pacing was all over the place. they rushed the first couple of episodes (suddenly they weren't in school anymore and i was like oh okay then haha) and then dragged the last few.

like how did they resolve the plagarism scandal again? and sangin sucked but i was curious what happened to his idol career in the end (also no shade but the actor who played sangin was in no way convincing as a newly debuted idol). hantae having very little musical talent (bless him) but suddenly hired as a producer seemed a little forced like yeah we've handed you a career and your happy ending! ... there's quite a few things that just made no sense to me but hey.

hantae and baram were just soooooo cute though, they did have natural chemistry so if you ignore the nonsense story and enjoy friends to lovers this is a fun watch. the production is nice too (the skin smoothing though... 😭) and the soundtrack is really good.

Title Hayabusa Fire Brigade Spoiler
I'm a bit lost what the end goal of the arsonist (and co-conspirators) is right now. I feel like the donations to the shrine are being used to buy the land but for what purpose? Do they want to rebuild the cult in Hayabusa?

This is a random thought but I do find it weird that Taro-kun can't remember most of his childhood and the time he spent in Hayabusa back then. Maybe the cult has its orgins in Hayabusa and his father may have been involved, along with the priest. Aya-chan's background and how she was drawn into the cult was very believably done imo. I really want to know more about the leader.

Kansuke-kun to me seems a bit suspicous amongst the entire brigade if indeed one of them is the arsonist (I'm still hoping not somehow as I really like the crew). I don't think he's as hapless and silly as he appears, and since Taro-kun arrived in Hayabusa he was very friendly with him, perhaps overly so.

I didn’t mind Akaso Eiji’s arc but they dumbed his character down so much, like compared to the other rookies he was too far naive. I get his inexperience but he seemed borderline inept at times. 😅 It does get better though - solid acting from the cast but the script just isn’t that impressive imo.

I do like this more than previous iterations though as that got too stale for me in the police academy setting.
