But my favourite scene this episode was the "CLUB PROCLAMATION" scene. I love how when WSW kicks that Xiao Tian off of CC and CC is just sitting there, gazing up at WSW like he is the most beautiful and gorgeous thing to ever exist. The little dialogue "I will spank him when we get home." He knows who he is going home with tonight. And the look on his face as WSW takes hold of the mic and claims that this will be the last time they will all see CC, and the way he takes WSW's hand and how he is dragged out of the Club, the amusement and satisfaction on his face. Also Kudos to WSW for keeping it stern and cold and Angry. He was indeed the man IN charge.
I don't know what the magic formula is here. I know this story inside and out I am a veteran watcher of BL I know that this story is not a PINACCLE of story telling. It's not even the writer's own best work.. I know the editing is choppy, and the dubbing in the beginning was garbage...
AND YET
I am absolutely obsessed with this show! I love every moment of it. The chemistry, the heart, the passion, THE LOOKS... Truly, the whole team, cast, and Crew has outdone themselves! They deserve all the accolades they are getting. Only CBL has ever evoked these emotions within me. LOL
OK, fellow RLZombies I finally got down to watching the episode. I KNOW I KNOW... I am so late, but it's been THAT kind of day! AND all my frustration just eased off. They are so lovely together y'all I CAN'T... LiTTle MASTER he said! WITH THAT FACE UGHHHHHHH.... I am DEAD. I literally got goosebumps when he climbed on that bed with that BELT.. OH MY LAAAAAAAAWDDDD
I really wish Feng Mang would get its own adaptation... hoping cj gets it turned into a live action drama, her…
I think she will announce it soon.. I mean she has to right. 1. It's kind of a very different plot than usual BLs . 2. It's closest to Counterattack in tone from all of her other works. 3. Calculating the humungous popularity of Revenged love. It would be the easiest sell, which makes me think it is the ripest for adaptation. Also it's never been adapted before. 4. I know casting for it would be a challenge. I mean, Han Dong is perhaps the most unique of her MCs but I am sure with her brilliant Eye for casting, she will get it just right!
The only reason she might not go for Feng Mang is because it is the least popular of her works. Especially, internationally. It's the least translated one, and the translations available are not at all good OR complete. So the fan familiarity isn't there. That is the only reason I see for her not going for it.
So, after re-watching the episodes... I only have one question and if it's not a spoiler, please someone explain. In the very first scene, when the Mystery person (I mean by 3rd episode we all know who it was) is standing in that shallow pool, is there a special significance to the black ribbon tie that they grab out of the water and hand over to their secretary?? If it's a spoiler, mention that without explaining. But if it's not a spoiler please explain.
OML.... considering I did not even read the summary on this... This is S-TIER acting HUA YONG! This is next level sh*T, turning the trope on it's head! WHAT an interesting turn! I am so glad I went in absolutely blind on this story! This is so interesting! I want more! And as someone who actively avoids Omegaverse. It works so well in this story! I never thought I would be saying that! I love being surprised and this surprised me for sure! Love me a MASTER MANIPULATIVE character!
Ok. So 2nd episode, I am getting my bearings in. I think I now understand what is going on regarding the Mysterious Character in the first scene and the 4 mains. But seriously, I have never seen a more gorgeous Omege/Uke in my life than Hua Yong. He has that beautiful mesmerizing charisma, like I get why all the Alphas would totally fall for that piece of gorgeousness and it's the first time it's actually CONVINCING, Hua Yong really is that BISH* I love that he seems so delicate, subservient and Sadboi simpering on the surface.. but there is this danger in his eyes. I LOVE IT. I AM IN. As for the S.Tier Alpha... hmmm.... I am not all that convinced yet. I mean, he is gorgeous, but is a bit of a Diva isn't he. Also I keep mixing Shen and Sheng. The surnames are too close.. but I am sure I will get more used to it as the story moves. Lets see what happens next. On to episode 3.
The other BL drama Desire ABO just released first 3 episodes today. And in the very first scene the secretary of the Mysterious guy is played by Feng Jian Yu, who played Wu Suo Wei in the first adaptation of Counterattack: Falling in love with the rival, the novel Revenged Love is based on. It was a pleasant surprise. LOL
