I'm actually happy! Hoping they cut out a lot of filler! More is not always better. Prime example is The Legend - the added extension ruined the second half of the drama. The first half was sooo good.
This drama was filmed in the winter, and in all of the BTS, they're wearing thick down parkas in between takes I think he's happy to wear that many layers!
He will be ML at the end, because he loves FL and she loves him, and they were growing together. He even wrote…
You must have not watched Dream High - SML was introduced first and he had a childhood connection with the FL. He even kissed her first. He was written like a ML in the beginning. The actual ML didn't even make his first appearence until the second episode.
I am positive ML and FL in this drama will go through major character and career growth together. I can see SML acting as mentor of sort who will be there to guide them in the startup world hope he gets his own love storyline with SFL.
This writer doesn't write typical ML characters that has childhood back story with the FL.
I think it is more of the make up style that they have been given. If you see them outside of their roles, Suzy…
Bingo! I'm actually so happy that they managed to make her hair, makeup and style look "cheap" without going overboard with the bad style that a lot of hardworking, poor FL in other dramas gets stuck with (although almost everything she's wearing in the drama, I cannot afford lol).
Her roots are growing out, the colour is somewhat brassy and it just has the right amount of waves that it looks "messy" without the bad perm.
Everything about Dalmi is so relatable, my favourite character of hers yet!
what is the deal with everyone rooting for the second male lead?
Appears because he was introduced first and he fits the bill for a typical male lead. People also love the child actor (and adult actor, of course!). I think viewers with SML syndrome will be disappointed because PHY also wrote Taecyeon like a typical ML in Dream High in the beginning, but turned out Kim Soohyun's character grew leaps and bounds throughout the drama and became the true ML. I think this will be similar - ML has so much room for growth!
Our girl went from having 0 dramas being released this year to having two releasing one after another. Seems like there may be a day where both LiS and JLO releases episodes - nice overlap!
I really enjoyed the first episode! Cinematography is beautiful - all the cherry blossoms ahhh. They also told their backstory in such an interesting way - love how it cuts in and out from present to past. I cannot wait for tomorrow's episode.
