There is no way in hell that Yan Jin is a murder (at least not by choice). I'm sure he didn't murder Zhan Yu- it's a chinese drama, there's no redemption for an evil character (they either die or get punished by law) and I don't think this story will go there.
I have a feeling Feng Wei Xing is the true murder/bag guy here. I am pretty certain he killed Zhan Yu - remember the scene when the police questioned what he was doing on NYE? I thought it was weird that they showed such a detailed scene of his night when watching it. When he mentioned Fang Ni Ya fell asleep for a bit (and he mad her congee), I think that's when he went to Yan Jin's place and somehow murdered Zhan Yu.
All of the plot points introduced in episode 26 and 27 were sooooo good - Yan Jin was the one who shot his buddy 6 years ago, him and his sister paid off someone to take the blame for the murder (now the sister is being blackmailed for money by the widow), police discovering shortcut hallway in Yan Jin's parking garage that he could have used to transport the body of Zhan Yu - SOOO SOO GOOD!
HOLY MOLY! I just finished episode 26 and that revelation is so exciting! I was worried on what else is there left to tell and that the story may drag, but YES!!! I'm all here for where this is going. 10000%.
Loving LGX and GYX's chemistry! Shipping them both on and offscreen!
edit: holy episode 27! I can't wait for subs to come out so that more international fans can understand and enjoy this masterpiece.
I have a theory that I will post in spoilers in my next post. Please don't click on it until you've watched episode 27!
And guys, anyone fighting about two fictional characters getting the girl? Are you guys seriously lmao? CAN WE…
I love this drama and I find there's not many places online where I can turn to in order to gush and fangirl over how much I loved each episode after watching it.
It mades me sad this place has become so toxic with fan wars :( There's still 8 episodes left, I hope we can all watch the remaining episodes in peace and just enjoy the story telling, acting and the OST together without putting any characters down.
Seriously. People are shitting on DS for not telling her the truth, but JP had just as many opportunities to tell…
If I was JP, as a reasonable man, I would have no one to blame but myself for someone else "profiting" in this situation.
I would blame myself for not coming clean to DM from the beginning after running into her after15 years. I would blame myself for begging DS to go to the dinner party and to pretend to be penpal DS. I would blame myself for lending him my car, house, suits and expensive watch. JP set up and enabled the lie - he went out of his way to help setup and reinforce the lie.
But knowing JP's character, he will not blame DS in this situation because he's an adult who is completely capable of making his own decisions. He can take the consequences for the choices he made, whether the consequences means he may not get the girl or he does - we don't know yet until the end of the drama.
By the way, the only reason why DS is "profiting" from this is because of his own efforts. He did not walk into DM's life and have her kiss him immediately because he was her penpal from 15 years ago. DS worked hard to get the girl. He wore his heart on his sleeves and never once hid his feelings for DM. He has been in her corner since day 1 - no matter what doubt others cast her way. He's always the first one to say Yes! to her great ideas and he works hard on making her ideas come to life. DM can see all the effort he's put in from the day she met him in person. I will always love him for creating NoonGil because of grandma. He barely knows her but he knows how important she is to DM.
As a viewer, I don't think JP sees himself as a victim and does not have a disadvantage - if anything, he has the upper hand. Once the lies comes to light, DS has the most to lose between JP and DS.
Seriously. People are shitting on DS for not telling her the truth, but JP had just as many opportunities to tell…
Yes! All the characters has their own reasons and struggles with it. I don't like it, but I can believe why they are lying. I can't wait for the dalmi to know about everything so that we can all start fresh.

Seriously! It's so toxic in this place, I can't even come on after an episode to gush over how good it is and properly fan girl because of all the hate.
I´m sorry but Ji Pyung does not deserve Dal Mi. He had so many chances to tell her the truth about the letters…
Seriously. People are shitting on DS for not telling her the truth, but JP had just as many opportunities to tell her the truth as well. You can't hate on one character for going along with the lie but then pity another character for going along with the same lie.
JP is not a victim. He's a succesful grown ass man, he can look out for himself. If he wants DM to know the truth, he can tell her.
Everyone has their reasons for keeping the lie going and none of the reasons are sinister. They are not evil, and they may be a bit selfish for keeing the lie going, but none of the characters deserves hate for it - not JP, Grandma, and especially not DS.
I feel kind of protective over dosan because of the hate he's getting.
I've stopped coming on here recently because of all the unnecessary hate he's getting. There's no reason to drag his character down because people are fans of JP - they're all both well written, much better than a lot of male characters from other dramas.
If I didnt watch the drama and just read the comments, I would have thought NDS is the evil second male lead who is dripping with evilness trying to stop JP and DM from being together lol judging by what's written about him.
After episode 8, either the writers are playing with us or telling us that HJP actually has a chance. HJP has…
She does care about him whole lot, but I think up up until now, it's because he's her mentor. Because I'd him, she recorded the meeting and got funding! We shall see how her feeling for him changes she finds out the truth.
maybe yes, maybe no but then why would she kiss NDS?
Oh, she will be hurt when she finds out everyone has been lying to her. She may even leave SST and not talk to DS. Maybe this is where the time jump happens. She will eventually forgive him and everyone else because there would be no drama otherwise lol.
HJP started to miss his chance the very first moment he was in the presence of SDM InJae and Grandma. The two…
Yep. Even now, he has the chance to stay by her side as her mentor. He chose to ignore her calls and dodge her because he realized he actually has feelings for her.
She may have preferred penpal DS before the rooftop, but she fully likes current DS now because of his actions - he defended her and protected her pride while they were meeting with IJ's dad.
If only JP didn't purposefully dodge her, he could have told her the situation sounds fishy and then do his search and let her know thwy are being used. He could have prevented the meeting and rooftop kisses would have never happened.
JP's decisions to not go ahead became DS's opportunities. Like what you mentioned above, DS and DM are meant to be as they have the luck and fate by their side.
