Yes!! What's the point of having him mention he's a fan of Wu songs when he never mentions or brings it up again. I love that recites Wu songs to her when they're in the bedroom (in the novel). They're just words, but it really sets the mood haha.

Lol it's because when they were in Bremen, SY teased him by saying Uncle Lin said they're not considered married until they've had a wedding ceremony (as a response to him saying they should live together once they're back in Shanghai). She offered to prepare a pull out bed for him in the study and he sheepishly agreed (SY even chuckled at his response - it was all playful and she was clearly teasing him).
ZSC being his clueless self took it seriously and out of genuine respect, planned on actually sleeping in the study lol. That's why he slept on the couch when SY said she forgot the pull out bed (yah right she forgot, that was never the actual plan! ha).
Like dude, ya'll already went all the way! Clueless as heck but SY doesn't mind because they have the rest of their lives to spend together.

As much I am enjoying the show (I truly am enjoying it), it's only at most a 8 for me at this point (when it can easily be a 10! I am soo soo easy to please lol).
As a viewer, I am becoming increasingly sexually frustrated. By this point in the novel (when they're in Bremen together), their physical relationship and intimacy has reached another level, to PG-13+ (lol), but they're still a G in the drama.
I completely agree with your last paragraph that at this pace, it can never reach the hotness level the novel brought us . I was thinking that this drama is RJL team's dream drama - romantic drama with minimal physical contact and intimate scenes lol.
I really hope their intimacy progresses and picks up like in the novel and for the drama to have a few more kiss scenes - please don't waste their chemistry, BL's kissing skills, MBFB, and a great love story.

ahhhh I hope not :( This wasn't the case in the novel, but who knows - maybe they'll expand his role to make him the villain. He's suppose to be reincarnation of the crown prince. He's ZSC most trusted friend in this lifetime, to amend for all his previous sins!
BL's hair and wardrobe in this drama is amazing. My only complaint is actually with RJL - he's missing a belt…
I feel like if the pants has belt loops, then a belt should be worn. His outfit looks incomplete without a belt! It's fine when the top is a bit more casual. Good example is the scene where he visits her family to break the news about the cancelled ahem dinner. He was wearing a white t-shirt and his entire outfit looked so good in that scene.
