I think the budget looks higher than One and Only which was an A production, but definitely not S+ as it doesn't look that expensive. I'm not impressed by the costumes at all, esp since the last costume drama Bailu was in is fricking TTEoTM (that drama has the most exquisite wardrobe ever!!!).
Is it just me or the filter on IQIYI is not as white? They actually look human and not vampires? I was watching ep 1-10 on kisshk.co, but decided to get IQIYI VIP once SoKP came out as well.

Because of YZ and LX's non existence age difference IRL, they dressed YZ's character like she was 12 years old in Go Go Squid to amplify their "age gap" lol. That was my biggest complaint about the drama,
The change of age difference for this drama is such a disappointment :( The essence of this story is SZ's silent crush on DJX. Her love for him is her deepest, darkest secret that she held onto dearly for 6 years. I can't believe they're going to take out that aspect of the drama :(. There's really no emotional impact at stake if their age difference is only 3 years apart. Without this essence, this is just going to a straight up pure sugar campus drama lol. What a waste of ZLS's talent.
Three of my favourite scenes from the novel where my heart ached alongside SZ and I cried with her will most likely won't be included in the drama because of the change of age *cries* (chapters 29, 72 and 75).
I absolutely love this novel - I've read the english transaction 3 times! ZLS is the perfect cast for Sang Zhi.
I'm a fan of Lin Yi, but he would be the biggest miscast EVER! DJX is suppose to be 7 years older than SZ, so how can they possibly cast someone actually younger than ZSL to play the role (not to mention, he has a little brother vibe to him) lol.
For DJX the actor needs to obviously be older, but still have a boyish look/charm and has a 'gentle' nature (so someone like ZBB for example, wouldn't be casted right either, since his look is too sharp and almost too manly). Someone like Jasper Liu is whom I envisioned DJX when I was reading the novel.
I can see Daddi Tang as Sang Yan - can already envision him and ZLS bickering as siblings. If they also want to make Sang Yan's novel into a drama later on, Daddi Tang is a leading man in his own right so there's no issue there.

I also can't believe she only has one drama that's going to be aired this year either! JUST ONE! So disappointing. Unless they quickly air Monkey King to strike while the iron is hot. That drama was filmed such a long time ago, I don't have high hopes that the script or production is that good. I have a feel it'll be another JLO type of drama that will generate low buzz and so-so review, but I guess us beggars can't be choosers at this point :(
I hope her lack of drama inventory means she really is picky with her scripts and she doesn't want to take a role for the sake of filming a drama. (and that she hasn't been offered the best scripts up until recently). Now that her resources are better and there's constant melons of her getting first pick of scripts coming through her agency/IQIYI, hopefully she confirms for at least 2 more good production dramas before the end of this year. It doesn't even matter if they're not S+, I just hope the production crew, script and costars for her future dramas are good. For her relatively short career, she's been paired twice with most of her male costars already (XK, LYX, RJL). She really needs to branch out and work with different costars.
My dream pairing for her is BJT and Steven Zhang or a supporting role in a Hu Ge drama! Especially BJT, I would love to see them in a modern mystery/thriller drama together.
I would also love to see her in a modern female centric drama (along the lines of Ode to Joy, Remembrance of Things Past, Delicious Romance...etc). It would also be nice if she were to be casted for a supporting/guest star role for some highly acclaimed upcoming series such as Joy of Life 2/3 and Nirvana in Fire 3...etc. A small supporting role that's memorable won't take too long to film, but if the role is a great fit, then it'll really benefit her (think of all the positive buzz she received from her guest star role in Ace Troops).

According to the rumours I've been reading on Twitter, the drama is a s+ production, which meant it's high budget! The team (minus the director) is from same team behind Immortality (another high budget production starring Leo).
I actually loved her bangs in OaO! I thought it was so cute and suited her very well. It was needed since she was suppose to portray SY as 16 years old.
Aside from that, her wigs from AMA and LFL were horrible, just horrible. I am very happy with her hair and wardrobe in FaE since I'm so used to female characters having bad hair and styling in modern dramas (especially compared to their male counter part).
Yay, she's been officially announced as a regular member of the new Running Man season 🤗 it's a shorter season (6 episodes), but hoping she gets invited back for the following season as well. Even if she doesn't come back, this is still such great news. Her resources is getting better. Can't wait for confirmation of her new drama and more CFs!

I have not watched any of the new episodes yet, but based on the screenshots of the bathtub scene...I LOVE IT! The way she comforts him in that scene is so intimate - gently strokes his hair, places her cheek against his forehead and then finally kisses it. SWOOON!!!!
