So BL confirmed in her most recent livestream that she doesn't have much fight scene in the drama - more scheming than martial arts (which she did both in the novel). Sad to see the change, but it was expected since they can't include the rebirth plot. I don't have hopes the Qilin plotline will make it into the drama.

I'm currently halfway through the novel (about 210 chapters in), and the amount of times they've described Ye Li wearing simple clothing is...pretty much every single scene where her clothing is described. They're in the middle of war...she's not going to wear flashy clothing.
Even before the war in the north started, she would enter the palace in simple yet elegant clothing (made of the highest quality fabric). Ye Li is a quiet luxury gal.

Oh she definitely isn't a fan of Bai Lu and doesn't care for her. I think it would partly be because she's from Yu Zheng's company and she hates him.
I notice she never puts Bai lu's photo on her video image, only her co-stars if she's featuring that drama in the video.
The rare chance that she does talk about her dramas, it's usually a scathing rant over one or two points and she always drop them (One and Only, Forever and Ever, TTEOTM...etc). I don't think she's ever finished a BL drama until SOKP so at she finished this one lol. I remeber in the OG review, she gave a one liner and said BL was okay in her role (felt like was triyng to say she was serviceable, didn't drag the drama down, but didn't add anything to it).
She gives a lot of leeway to actors and actresses that she likes and would even admit that because she likes them, she can over certain things. She is extremely critical of actors she doesn't like. Makes me wonder what her review of SOKP would be if the leads were her favourite actors.
She's became way too negative, I actually unfollowed her and blocked all her content from appearing on my Google feed.
