I think Shi De will never confess to Shu Yi because he is leaving and Shu Yi is so clinically clueless that he needs a little push, so maybe the doctor will play that role. The backstory of the doctor maybe set up season 2. Yes music, acting everything is gr8, also the dialogues are so dramatic..when shu yi was thinking after the heartbreak, "you want to destroy the world, like a turbulent wind precedes the mountain storm.." OMG, I had forgotten to watch the ep 4 trailer. The doctor is quite the meddler..lol Me too..when he was in the clinic thinking maybe Shi De likes the doctor I wanted to get into the screen and shake his head..lol Yes, this has all the usual tropes. But it is executed so well. I am really a sucker for such series..lol
Another lovely episode. We get a little bit of history that adds more flavor and depth to their story. This series is all positive vibes. Loved the way Fang Zhen refused to yield even though he cares about Shu Yi. Zhou Sui Yi has to be the most clueless person ever..lol. FIrst he was was clueless about his two friends, no idea about Gao Shi De's feelings and now he is paring Shi De with the doctor! What a beautiful ending. I think Shi De won't express his feelings again and Shu Yi will slowly realize it wasn't a joke after all. Finally, they get to become friends sharing a meal without competing. SHi De is so obsessed with the idea of winning, the only way he knows of garnering Shu Yi's attention! Now, he is finally able to move past that, happily sharing a moment with SHuYi just like how it all started. It has indeed been long.
I love the fact that Zhou Shu Yi has such amazing friends that they actually have the patience to indulge him in his childish prank quest, writing so many prank ideas on the board! On top of that, they have doing this ever since grade six or something. That's just crazy!

That's the thing, why would he want to scare Bun if he is not involved in Jane's death. Also did he fall for Bun so deeply just after the first kiss! Tan has so many contradictory motivations; he definitely cared about Jane, his protective instinct for Bun, his attitude towards his family, his penchant for breaking the law but within bounds, very interesting character.

RIght, I watched the scene again. Tan asks whether it was a waste of effort stealing the laptop and Bun said it wasn't. Makes me more curious about what they found! Not sure about the police call though. We have to remember Tan is the fearsome Dam. Alcohol makes a violent man even more violent and Tan is a violent man. the first reaction should have been to rip off the mask of the intruder. But I guess that's exactly what they didn't want to reveal at this point. This person should have a key role in the incidents.

He does have a thing for his family but remember when he was viciously beating up Pued in ep1 after finding out he is bothering Nam. So, Nam was quite important to him. HIs family his very shady being involved in drug trade and but it seemed like Tan is not aware of all that his family is doing. Its just that Tan's motivation is not clear. Bun quite clearly wants to find out who killed Nam? But what about Tan? What is his goal? If one says his only goal is to keep Bun safe, but that can only be later when he actually fell for him. In the beginning it seemed he genuinely tryint to find out who killed Nam, now it seems he only wants to keep Bun safe; a little confusing.
Finally caught up to ep 7 and 8. Pretty good tbh. Very interesting build up to the makeout session. Getting away with doing something 'forbidden' can be quite exhilarating! Finally they get to come closer and then the revelation and consequent feeling of betrayal. Nicely done. Some things don't make sense though. They went through all that and couldn't find anything in the laptop! Quite strange. ALso why is Tan defending Pued even after knowing he sold Nam to the lawmaker! ANd very strange for a shady person like Tan to report to the cops about a breakin immediately rather than figuring out on his own. Wondering whether Pued was really attacked or putting in a show! The police arrested him even though he is the one who reported the incident. It is unlikely. Finally, can we get over the fact that Bun is ME/GP everything. Yes, it is a flaw and has been discussed a hundred times already. How about letting it go!
