I am really enjoying this. A mother who adamantly refuses to let go of past and get treatment, a hothead Nutt who constantly tries to do right by others but then messes everything up and Tofu who is basically a bank slate; although they all care about each other, the situations keeps spinning out of control. Nutt's fractured upbringing has led him to develop this confrontational attitude towards every problem. His behavior towards his mother and Tofu is borderline emotional abusive. Although it is understandable, I hope someone reads him the riot act at some point and explain to him this behavior can't be excused for a decent person. Tofu's character seems underdeveloped, and he doesn't get mentally hurt at being abused. The only thing that disappoints him is not being hugged by Nutt. I wish he becomes a complete person at some point, not merely an object, a teddy to be hugged for comfort when you are down and to be discarded otherwise. The mother's characters seems most frustrating. She just refuses to do anything to improve her situation and just keeps wallowing in the past. I think there is enough real life equivalents of Nutt and his mother's characters and such ppl hardly ever change. More interesting is Tofu who is basically a blank slate. I wonder how his character would be developed. Kudos to the friend who can speak the truth to Nutt!! I just realized there are 12 more 90 mins episodes. Just hope they can mantain this quality till the end.
What crap is this. I havent seen a subtitled version, but what appears is that they are taking his measurements by force and he is like completely distraught and all they care is his measurments and then he collapses. This is the one of most awful and senseless thing I have ever seen. ALso, Green is like a world class tailor and cant even sew a button without pricking his fingers!! Its rather unfortunate as the two guys are cute enough.
having watched ep 2 trailer, I feel like Teh has always been like this. He always wants things in his own terms. Although he is trying to empathize with Oh, he doesn't really get what Oh really wants. He wants Oh to be with him in his pursuit of his dream and blames Oh that he has changed. I am with Oh's friends on this one; that it is ok to take things in stride till the time with he is sure.
I might be bashed for saying this, but Oh Aew is extremely privileged and self centered. I can see what's coming…
Its hard to empathize if you haven't been in his situation, I guess. Many may think his problems are trivial, but lack of clear direction, loneliness, isolation are real problems many ppl face at some point in life.
excuse me, needy is if he kept insisting Teh keeps staying with him or gets upset with Teh for not spending more time with him. Though he is lonely, he is continuously supporting Teh never complaining a bit. That's the opposite of needy.
Really enjoyed the first episode, great drama indeed. Amazing how they show that they both love each other no doubt, but still they are getting further apart, distance which can't simply be bridged by repeatedly saying I love you; there is no easy solution. Oh-'s problem is a lack of clear direction in life, his ambiguity about what he really wants. Oh's growing loneliness and Teh's failure to appreciate his situation, too busy with his own life, is slowly pulling them apart. Though I loved the way his new friends accepted him in their group. It can be quite difficult to meet new ppl in college. There were a few great scenes, like where Oh breaks down while explaining his name, when Oh opens his eyes and sees just darkness or when Teh is looking for a place to dispose the flowers and Oh offers to take them back pretending everything is alright. Frankly I am quite happy that they have been able to maintain the quality the drama in this season.
'I Promised You the Moon', what a fitting name! You always want to extend your hand and touch the cool bright moon in the night sky, but its too far, its too far. One can only touch the moon through its reflection on water. The skyline music video alludes to the Chinese proverb, "Mirror Flower, Water moon", Aew reaches his arm towards Teh but can only touch the water surface, Teh locked behind the illusive barrier. Just as the skyline separates earth and sky, the water separates Aew from his moon. The barrier was formed by Teh's hesitation to accept his true self. In the end of last season, Teh promised Aew that he will never be separated from him again. I see the name as Teh's promise to finally come through completely for Aew. Aew wishes to have a genuine relationship with Teh , not a half-baked messy thing filled with agony and confusion. Already so excited, can't wait for it to start!!
if I don't see Mork saying "you didn't have to change, because I've always loved you just the way you are" to…
Well I wish, but hardly think that's going to happen. Plus the problem they show on these series can be easliy fixed by a makeover. Problems of ppl in similar situations in real life is not something that can be fixed that easily.
Be a little open minded... People react and deal with things differently. Saying that he was overreacting making…
Yes, my point was not about Gene being wrong about how he feels but they should have developed it more clearly so that the viewers can empathize more with how he feels. I just thought they didn't do a very good job explaining that.

Problem is in the sudden shift in his personality from a kid to adult without any apparent reason. As a kid he was brave enough to protect Sib. ALso it may seem trivial bit it takes a lot to defy your friend group and hang out with a kid you like But the same person has suddenly become this sensitive adult, its not very clear why. Also, the story doesn't really do a great job in explaining why he feeling like that, just that he feels wronged. Validating feelings doesn't mean rationalizing every behavior. The only thing shown is that he is still angry with the little kid for all these years because he didn't show up to say goodbye, without any effort to understand what the kid must be going through, being separated from someone so close all of a sudden! That may make sense to you, not to me.
