I think the new rating algorithm is a mess. I will give you an example of what I am saying and you can comment…
About the droppers, there was a admin post that any rating with watching status less than one-fifth of the show (including dropped) is not taken into account. The way I understood it is that if you dropped after watching more than one-fifth of the show, your rating is included.
"Second, because they seem to give more weight to older and popular shows. The more watchers, the best. The Korean shows have all rised in the Top Ranked List, while other series from other countries have dropped." That may not be a bad thing in the long run. I think this may lead to short-run fluctuations, but will cement ITSAY's position in the long run. More and more people are coming to this page, about how they absolutely love this show! TT2 ratings will most likely be culled in a few days. Same as Manner of Death.
SInce a lot of quality has been clubbed together within one point difference (8-9), one improvement MDL can do is to allow more finer rating from the current system.

Also, according to copyright law, its not illegal to watch unlicensed content; what is illegal is uploading it. If you don't want to watch illegal copies, that is your personal preference and I respect that, but we live in an imperfect world!

Well you made a sweeping generalizarion about ppl not discussing the content of the comment section, based on looking at a few recent comments. Ppl have discussed and disusses and had enough of it!
You wrote in your bio, we grew up in aworld without any images how gay relationships will look like, and how teenagers now have access to it. So, I was surprised the same person wrote this criticism frankly. Not everybody's first language is english, or even want to write a lot, but just want to express their admiration for something that touched them so deeply. Some of the reviews may well be fake, but i dont think they all are inspite of giving 10/10 in all categories and merely using like masterpiece, extraordinary
Oh man, so I definitely don't think that Teh acted the way Oh-aew wanted him to act! But I think Teh's perception…
Yeah, also really liked the point you made about Oh never condemning Teh for not coming out. He just wants him to acknowledge him his feelings. This is what separates this drama from GSP (if you have seen it). But, it may become an issue in season 2.I don't think it will ever be like my way or the highway as in GSP, but looking forward to see how they handle it!
A very thoughtful review. I have a different take on a lot of points. But I just wanted to raise one. " Teh does everything that he thought Oh wanted him to do. " DO you really think that? Oh had made it very clear that what he wants is different from what Teh is offering repeatedly. But Teh could not give what Oh wanted and tried to compensate him with all the accessorial help. Like he was in the grip of this delusion that this way he can show to Oh how much he cares about him, completely ignoring what Oh really wanted. That sacrifice was also unhealthy and done in a mire of confusion. IN childhood also, Oh was trying to make the point that Teh wouldn't have and "shouldn't have " made the sacrifice if he was in Oh's shoes.
There is something bizarre going on here. First of all, there are literally scores, maybe hundreds, of reviews…
Its not bizarre or disturbing if ppl feel differently from you. Many of the reviewers may be first timers, as they must have compelled to write one after watching this, but there's nothing wrong with that. I have been watching bl for many years, but first time felt compelled to write a review after this one. People are writing it is a masterpiece, because that's how they feel. If you don't feel it that way, please go ahead and criticize anything you don't like about it! But to criticize about how other people feel about it is really bizarre. I hope you can appreciate that many people felt it was a masterpiece, even if you don't feel it that way.
There are at least some reviews I have seen, which discuss some points in details, so hopefully you find them. There is this particular review I really liked. https://kisskh.at/55651-bkpp#comment-4657163
There was a lot of discussion going on about the content, while the series was ongoing. You just need to scroll down and load past comments to access them.
The issue about ratings happened as previously it was 9.5, and then suddenly it started fluctuating wildly for a few days,(as with many other shows) as MDL change its algorithm, but it seems to have settled down now.
There was also discussion and criticism about the payment structure. Even Nadao had admitted about the problem. The payment structure, especially paying a shit load and then getting access for only a month indeed is too much. Also there are other ways of watching it, but ppl don't mention it too much as don't want o promote illegal viewing. I myself paid only for the last two episodes, as I thought it was too expensive for only a month.
The turning point of this first season reminded me a lot of Make Our days count. I know it’s a pretty obvious…
Not sure which one you are referring to as turning point, but all the knee-tests reminded me of how Hao-Ting grabbed XI Gu's hand and put it on his chest to see whether his heart palpitates or not!
I only saw an excerpt of the interview posted and this wasn't there. Is the interview on twitter?Jealousy; its…
One thing they confirmed though is that in S1 they were friends but now they are bfs, so it will be a lot more intense compared to S1. How intense can it get! expecting a lot more steamy stuff in S2! ?
Wooow, that ending though!! This 3rd episode was really good!! I have so many questions...why is Tan so adamant…
"why is Tan so adamant about being there for Bun?" Maybe he has totally fallen for Bun after that impromptu kiss! Or maybe he is an undercovers agent as pointed out below, and thinks he needs to protect Bun. OR BOTH! "Is Tan in on it?" I refuse to believe that..lol Lets see how Tan reacts to Bun's proposal to share the bed. Actually its quite difficult to share bed with someone you like but it isn't clear..lmao. "Annnd last question...for those who have read the book (I haven't)...is the series following the book??" I haven't read the book, but only read somewhere that the reporter character was not in the book. So, may not be following it completely.

It makes perfect sense, and somehow that is why I feel it won't happen 'exactly' but with a twist, like while we were watching Season 1 all our theories were correct, but only with a twist...lol. What I wrote is also a bit iffy as that would mean Oh gets jealous, but Teh is more prone to jealousy. Oh is perfectly secure about how Teh feels, but Teh has a little insecurity. I should just stop thinking. We just need more info to predict more.

That doesn't have subtitles so thanks for explaining!! About the rest, I totally agree with everything you said. I will expand on something raised by @TiagoFerreira; about the CHinese play Oh had in mind, and Teh acting in that. Interesting would be whether the play is bxb or bxg! In either case, Oh may be the director and Teh may be the male lead and there may be some jealousy involving some intimate scenes involving Teh and the other lead, maybe!
Nice to see you here haha Did you watch episode 3? The chemistry was on fire!
I am not so focused on the mystery angle, but more into Bun and Tan chemistry!!. But Tan being undercover is perfectly plausible! I loved how tsundere Bun is, like he was already expecting Tan to pick him up but the first thing he says after getting into the car was there was no need to for Tan to pick him up..lol. Also, even though he suspects Tan, but instinctively trusts him enough to depend on him. He was also a little jealous in ep2 when he thinks Tan is the bf! Also, totally fine with sharing the bed, what is going through his head!!
So P'Mean tweeted a wink smile on an interview to Billkin about being a bit jealous if anyone hugged the person…
I only saw an excerpt of the interview posted and this wasn't there. Is the interview on twitter? Jealousy; its hard to imagine them getting jealous about other new ppl at this point tbh. But they are in different schools and there may be miscommunication, but still jealousy would be too cliché.

yeah, I thought quite an improvement from the last two tbh. Nice to see them gradually getting closer. When the other doctor asks whether Dr. Bun need a ride, he is like, I got my own private chauffer ;D Also, Dr. Bun looks so upright but can be quite sneaky, starting a hashtag and all that! But the plotline is a little weak, repetitive use of housebreaking, getting picked up by unknown persons etc.
They are making the cast a secret but there is no indication of Bas.
Yes, none of them look like Bas. There was this exchange where Teh says that Bas and Oh will be separated in college so he doesn't have much time to pursue him, or something like that. Bas wanted to study different subject so he maybe in different college, but really hope there is a side-story with Bas.
