Yes...fact is We need YaoJing renion and more YaoJing scenes... their love is life. As for the other 2 mls.. Xiao…
Very true. Tushan Jing is pretty much the only one who puts her first above everything else. He was even ready to relinquish his title as clan leader for her. Xiang Liu is blinded by revenge, and Cang Xuan by power. That's why no matter how much they love Xiao Yao, I have a funny feeling neither of them will be endgame.
There's an excellent explanation here on the relationship of Cang Xuan and Xiao Yao.https://kisskh.at/discussions/lost-you-forever/120191-are-cang-xuan-and-xiao-yao-blood-relatives-in-the-drama
Well, when I say one-sided, I mean more in the sense that the drama so far made it pretty clear that XY has strong sisterly/platonic feelings for CX, whereas his seem like (thinly veiled) strong romantic feelings. I can't say much about the book, because I haven't read it. I'm interested to see how they continue their relationship in S2 though.
Waiting for S2 just so I can see Fangfeng Yi Ying get what's coming to her. I need her and Tushan Hou's relationship and evil plans to be exposed to everyone and then I want them to suffer miserably, forever. I also need Tushan Jing and Xiao Yao to have their happy ending because they DESERVE it after all they've gone through. I would love for Xiang Liu and Cang Xuan to live happily as well but something tells me that won't be possible without Xiao Yao... lots of future angst, I'm sure

That's funny, I didn't even know the drama was trying to imply something else because nearly every scene I watched between them had me believing they were definitely blood-related cousins. And Cang Xuan has this one-sided crush on her that's some sort of remnant from their childhood days where they promised to marry each other.
How many died in the Highland Clearances? How many when the settlers arrived in the Americas? The conquest of…
Around 1,000 in the Highland Clearances. But that isn't the point. Look, war is a horrible thing. We know that war is a terrible thing, because it causes many people to die. Just look at the war in Ukraine, the war in Gaza, the civil war in Myanmar, and countless more ongoing conflicts. The difference that I'm trying to point out is that Mao did this to HIS OWN PEOPLE. He justified the enormous death toll by saying that he was bringing about progress. But he's single-handedly responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of Chinese citizens. These are numbers we've never seen before in history. Not from a leader inflicting this upon his own country. You may hate war, as we all do, and you might rightly point out the injustices that the indigenous peoples have faced in North America, but you cannot use this to lessen Mao's atrocities. This isn't about a comparison, it's about letting the truth be heard instead of supporting a drama that glosses over this horrible period in history and does injustice to the millions of dead.
There's no way I'm gonna watch a drama that worships marxism and communism. Why was this even made? It's clear propaganda. Millions of people tortured, dead, and executed. Twenty million people dead from starvation. Mass suicides. The total? Between 30-45 million Chinese citizens dead as a result of Mao's "Great Leap Forward" (1958-1961). Just a question: Is this the price we have to pay for "progress?"
Very. Little to no angst, no unnecessary drama thrown in for the sake of it. One of the most feel-good dramas I've watched this year (literally just completed ep 25 today)
I just have a tiny bit complaint with acting, but they are idol actors, I wouldn't have expected much anyway.…
Well I mean, only two are actually idols. One was a trainee/idol show contestant... and then the other two are just actors I think. I haven't watched the show yet myself because I'm waiting for more episodes to come out, but it looks cute! Definitely a unique concept.
So Luke is the Second Male lead? Lord give me strength cause I can't! I love Dew but LUKE!! Oh my!!!
Luke is playing a character who's a mentor/older brother figure to Dew's character as far as I know. Luke said in an interview that his character is "extremely important" and that basically without him, there is no story LOLLL
I was so looking forward to seeing Yu Shu Xin play a different role than in Love Between Fairy & Devil.. but I gotta wait until it finishes airing to watch it! Wanna bingeee
Actually, I thought FL is too childish (well she is) but after rewatching for how many times (lost count) I started…
Lol after watching "Exclusive Fairytale" I can assure you that this female lead, comparably, is not too childish at all xDDD it's just the right amount that I can bear.
The character Sa Sakujun aka Cha Shuo Xun will appear in episode 23.No, the anime did not cover the whole novel.…
Thank you!!! I know the drama is only loosely based on the anime so I'm interested to see what the differences will be. I'm enjoying the anime so far :)))
I've started watching the anime (seen 4 eps) and I'm pretty sure I haven't seen Deng Wei's character yet. Does he come later in the series?
Pretty sure Ko Shurei is Hong Xiu Li, Shi Ryuki is Zi Liu Hui, and maybe Shi Seiran/Seian is Zi Jing Lan? But no Cha Shuo Xun to be seen
Btw I'd like to know- does the anime portray the full plot? Or does it stop short of the novels? And will the drama's plot go past where the anime ended??
