i feel like second season is too harem-focused, is it? ive looked at trailers and snippets to see whether it was…
I'm on the 7th episode of S2 and I haven't seen any harem fighting yet. But yes, the first few episodes definitely focus a little more on CX and XY and him navigating his new life as King with her by his side. There's more to the plot than just CX's wives, like Tushan Jing finding out the truth about FFYY & TSH, TSJ & XY's strained relationship and whether they will make up, XL's encounters with XY, XY's engagement to CFL and whether or not they'll actually get married... what happens when XL and CX have to face off... lots of stuff.

Yes, same here! For me both XL and TSJ love XY equally, it’s just the different type of love. Both of them are…
Thank goodness someone feels the same way about CX!! His behaviour has been creepy at best and manipulative at worst- he's completely obsessed with Xiao Yao and wants to keep her close no matter the consequences! Whether it's neglecting his duties as King, forcing her to return to the mountain despite her true wishes, or coming in-between her and the guys she likes romantically (DESPITE him KNOWING that she has no romantic feelings for him)... all of it just gives me the ick! Like dude I get you were childhood besties but you're being really overbearing and problematic right now.

I wanted to binge-watch S2 when it finished airing, but couldn't hold myself back reading comments considering…
I read the comments too but I still started S2 a couple of days ago and I'm enjoying it! It might not be quite as new and exciting as S1 but I'm still enjoying the progression. I don't think XL's upcoming ending is unexpected or unfitting for his character, I think it makes sense given his temperament and loyalty to Hong Jiang & Chenrong army. So I'm not mad about it. I just choose to cherish the moments we have with him before he's gone!

So I have noticed in quite a few of these historical Chinese dramas that a blood related cousin is always having…
First cousins were allowed to marry back during China's dynasties when Kings ruled. It's no longer practiced today, as it was outlawed in the 80's.

does anyone else feel like Deng Wei's face looks like he had plastic surgery? itgave me this feeling since i saw…
I think that if he got anything done, it was a nose job. But who cares? It's glaringly obvious that Yang Zi had a lot of work done on her face, but that doesn't change the fact that she's an amazing actress. Neither does a nose job change the fact that Deng Wei does a great job embodying his character Tushan Jing. Just because he has different characteristics, and values kindness, honesty, and forgiveness over aggression, manipulation, and power doesn't mean that he's a bland character. What you see as his weaknesses are actually his strengths.

Title Lost You Forever Spoiler
hey, why Tushan Jing got his hair grey? lovesickness?
It's not ever addressed. I myself think it's a combination of lovesickness, as well as ailing health. He has suffered, and will suffer a lot by the time the story's over so I think some premature greying is to be expected.

happy ending?
Yes, it's a happy ending for certain main characters. However, for others, it's sad. You just have to take the good with the bad.

Please someone tell me that Ye Shi Qi stays good cause I already like him a lot. But I also know the more fit…
He stays true to himself, his kindness, and his love for Xiao Yao. I think you'll be satisfied by the ending. However, be prepared for some suffering between now and then.

Title Joy of Life Season 2 Spoiler
My opinion: Although I was mesmerised by S1, I was quite dissapointed by S2.ML was away for 6 months but we only…
I like this season but I found the reveal of Fan Xian's identity rather anticlimactic. It was just spread as a rumour, no grand reveal. It's like it was just a plot device for a whole bunch of people to start wanting to kill him. Kinda disappointing.

Can someone explain to me once again who Lin Wan'er's mother is? What relation is her mother to the emperor? Why do the princes call Lin Wan'er "sister"? Because whenever I hear them call her that and think about Fan Xian's identity, it gets all weird and awkward in my head lol
