aww i get it, but its only on the last ep so 48 episodes of zhai xing being alive (well lang zai basically dies…
So the epilogue is at the end of ep 49 and it's basically the 4th prince, now emperor, voice overing what happened. The time stamp starts at 39.11 minutes/ 44.07. I translated everything until the end.
Prince Bo/ Lang Zai took Zhai Xing's body, and they were never seen again. When a wolf's mate dies, they will follow their mate. Prince Bo/ Lang Zai also chose to follow Zhai Xing and passed away. Although they have already left, I (the 4th brother) will always reminisce a story. In the past on Wolf's Mountain (Lang Shou Shan), there was a little boy and a little girl, and they were the most important people in each other's lives. The boy led the girl into the wolves' world. Because of him, the girl forgot about all the sadness and heartbreak in the human world.
Zhai Xing then says: Don't come over, I'm stronger than them!
Lang Zai smiles at her. He catches her while she takes tiny steps on the log.
At that time, they didn't know that long ago, they already loved each other. It is destiny, that they both will have hatred/ strife with each other, yet still love each other so much.
This, is Langzai and Xing'er story.
Then the scene switches to Prince Bo/ Lang Zai standing alone at a place where they both used to meet with a butterfly.
The voiceover continues: Hope that in another world, they are still able to have that love for each other (and be with each other).
The butterfly is supposedly Zhai Xing and she calls Lang Zai!
I was going to wacth this (I'm on ep 6 and I'm loving this) but after knowing the ending, sorry I'm not going…
aww i get it, but its only on the last ep so 48 episodes of zhai xing being alive (well lang zai basically dies after her in the epilogue told and so its kinda a happy ending for them in the afterlife if they have one)
No spoilers don't worry. God....only episode 2 in and it's been a long time since I'm this mad watching a drama.…
same, I'm a big fan of cdramas and some kdramas but this one was not it. Unfortunately, I don't think this one was adapted from the chinese novel but just inspired by it bc the novel was how the chinese version followed it. I'm sure the tweaking of the princes in this version was confusing bc it didn't make as much sense as it could have been (also they don't have Kangxi Emperor and the princes in history like the chinese drama protrayed bc it wasn't Korean history).
I personally think this drama only got so much hype because of Baekhyun and IU. I still prefer the Chinese drama…
yes me too. I think mainly bc it was chinese history and the korean version couldn't really have done that. Bu Bu Jing Xin had a much smoother plot bc it described a lot of what happened in real life when the sons were fighting for the throne.
Although I watched the Korean adaptation first, and then this version second, I fell in love with the Chinese…
Yes! I watch this one first before the Korean version but I agree that Bu Bu Jing Xin was much better. I think it mainly is because it follows the actual plot of Emperor Kangxi and his 13+ sons and made the storyline much more efficent. (yes, emperor kangxi and all the sons fighting for the throne was real, happened during the qing dynasty) That is why the female lead knows so much as well bc a lot of things in the drama is actually true. It didn't make too much sense for the Korean version bc they cannot really go into depth politically as it wasn't actually their history.
Is this worth to watch? I was thinking to watch this because of Cecilia Liu. I love her in palace dramas.
Omg yes, you def should watch it. The storyline is very steady since it's an adaptation from the book and Cecilia's acting is very good there. The main couple also got married in real life so watch out for the chemistry!
I put this off all year because I hated the Bald Mullet, it's a big NO up front and party in the back hairdo..…
LOL i can see why you think its unattractive, the hairdo was def not the best looking. This chinese drama is probably one of the most ops and old cdramas out there that I continue rewatching
I spoiled myself to the last few eps because how could I NOT?! Re: Ji Chong pushing Xing'er on Wolfie and her…
I don't think there was ever "rape" tho, the only scene that he really said he would was going to rape her was to help Zhai Xing bc she couldn't wear too many layers of clothes. His love language probably isn't words of affirmation and there were just too many misunderstandings. This is also why Ji Chong finally realizes and tells Zhai Xing all of it so that she would be with the person she really wants to be with without any misunderstandings.
Can someone tell me when they reconcile completely after their separation on episode 27? I know they were really…
yes they do, they even get married agin if you are talking about zhai xing and lang zai, and there are really sweet scenes before the last episode. If you are already up to episode 27, might as well finish it :) I think it's worth it
I read on weibo that the 2 years separation happens from ep 44-53 where Xuanji while searching for Sifengwhen it was snowing, the fake marriage, and the lover's curse getting broken happens. Then Xuanji has to wait another 2 years in ep 54-59 because Sifeng is in a coma from the fight in the Heavenly Realm.
OMG LOLLL that is so true (if you watch modern chinese dramas, I recommend Go Ahead, super fun to watch and a distraction from Love and Redemption if you have caught up to the episodes)
