I am dropping this and it doesnt have anything to do with the age gap or how the male lead looks. For one I hate how the story is so superficial and makes everyone seem to only care about money and act as if going for a rich husband is normal and even something to be proud of.
Second, the main leads have 0 chemistry. Again, not because of the age gap, but because of the writing that made them hang out around each other as if they are just good friends and the lack of skinship. Like, the only kiss I saw was at the wedding and it was bad.
Third, and one of the main reasons I am dropping this, the subs are BAD. They are automatic translations and most of it does not even make sense. There is just no way I can keep watching like this. I might as well just watch it raw.
So yeah, I will have to drop this. I dont really feel like I am losing much tho.
As much as I watch dramas mainly for the romance, for me the romance here was completely unnecessary and I did not feel any chemistry between the leads, to not talk about the whole ethical part with the male lead getting romantically involved with a patient. His work ethics were questionable not only because of that but for other decisions he made.
Anyway, the only thing I liked about this drama was seeing the female lead and other patients heal. But that was not enough to make me like the drama as a whole.
I may be wrong but I've noticed most of the new dramas on Youtube have ridiculously loud BGM that overpowers the…
Yeah. YouTube does that to a lot of dramas that have music that belongs to someone else, even if the production of the drama bought the rights to use it. There is still room for improvement in the way they handle copyright.
I really like this pairing but it is a shame that they were cast together again in a plot that I have watched countless times and that I do not even like that much.
At the time I watched the original version, I liked it, because I had recently started watching kdramas and the plot was new to me. But this kind of plot is just not that interesting and just frustrating to watch. I keep hoping remakes will change that one event that really angers me, but they always follow the plot so there is never a remake that is a little less tragic. If this was only loosely based, then I would probably have enjoyed it, but it was just recycled from the original and with more episodes to make the story even more draggy.
Really, such good chemistry is wasted on this drama. I wish they were cast together in a completely different drama.
This drama is very emotional, especially if you are a woman who would like to be a mother one day. The romance was also good and played an important part in the plot development, but the female lead’s strong wish and also biggest struggle to get pregnant was the main plot point and also what made this drama stand out from the crowd.
But the romance line is still good. There is no over dramatic misunderstandings between the couple like they do…
Yeah. I did like that and loved the male lead’s personality. The romance was just a bit too slow, meaning they could have gotten together sooner, and I wish there was at least a kiss or some kind of skinship to make it feel more real. But in the aspect you mentioned, this drama definitely beats a lot of other thai dramas.
The last few episodes were too much about politics and stuff but I knew it would go that way. I am not very happy with how a few things were wrapped up but oh well. The main leads had good chemistry so that made it worth watching. I have seen better, but I have also see worse. For me this was a little better than average but not amazing or anything.
This is just my kind of drama. It might not be for everyone, but for someone who has a cooking background or a special interest in cooking and food, then I am sure you will enjoy this.
I have watched half of it in one sitting and I now feel like going to the kitchen and cooking something completely different from what I usually cook....that and I am also hungry. LOL
I liked some things about it like the main leads chemistry or how the female lead was independent and hardworking and not a crybaby. I mean, she found out on the day she was shooting her wedding pictures that her longtime boyfriend and soon to be husband had been cheating on her for years and she did not lock herself in her room crying. She focused on her work and personal growth instead. I also liked her friendship with the second female lead and how she became friends with her ex’s second girl, that showed they were both humble to see neither of them was at fault, he was the one to blame. In real life it is rare for that to happen. Even if the other woman had no idea and the guy is the one cheating, you still hate the other woman.
Ok, so those were some of the things I liked. Now, what I did NOT like.
As usual, this was way too long. Why 45 episodes if you do not have anything to add to the story? The second couple also stole A LOT of screen time. In a 35 minutes episode (if you take out the intro and ending songs), they would some times monopolize the first 15-20 minutes. And to be honest, their story was not even that interesting.
There were also some issues with the relationship between the leads and I still cannot get over how insensitive the male lead was to kiss her in front of someone who had just confessed his love to her. I mean, there is a time and place for everything.
The product placement like other people have mentioned is just right in your face. And how realistic is it that EVERYONE in this drama has the same ringtone? When a phone rang I would only be able to tell who was receiving a call after that person answered the phone because, I repeat, EVERYONE had the same ringtone.
The plot was dragged to the point it felt like I was just watching fillers. Starting around episode 25 or so I started to skip a lot of scenes. I love when the main leads get together early rather than getting together only on the last episode, BUT if you have a 45 episode drama and the main leads get together around episode 14 (or somewhere around that), what are you going to do with the plot for the other 31 episodes? I honestly thought this would turn out to be one of those dramas where the main leads break up and get together several times. SPOILER ALERT: they surprisingly only break up once.
So yeah, not impressed with this drama. 6/10 and I am being generous already.
This happens all the time with way too many dramas and I wonder why! It's not like they done it once and learned…
Yeah. Also, since some of these dramas are uploaded to YouTube and use copyrighted music, a lot of times you will have huge chunks of conversations muted, it is really annoying. I only need BGM in certain situations like a car chase or something. XD I could do just fine without it, especially if I have to give up listening to the characters because of it.
For those wondering, the subs on iQiyi are awful. You might as well watch it without them. Maybe they will fix them later, but I doubt it since this is not a popular drama.
