It was ok but I think they could have done much better. For one, the baby should have been born sooner. It is not like the villain would stop trying to kill it after it was born. And that way we would have had a lot of cute family scenes to watch. I also don’t get why they did not marry. And the plot twist near the end was just ewwww. That is all I am going to say. You will know what I mean after you watch it.
For me it never did. I skipped entire episodes and felt like the plot had not progressed at all, then after watching…
LOL Then you might as well drop this one if you came here after. It just does not measure up to Someday or One Day. That was quite funny that I tried to recommend you the drama that originally brought you here. XD

Have you watched the drama Someday or One day? I watched it while I had this one on hold and I felt like it was more my cup of tea. Maybe you will feel the same way.
I remember coming across her youtube channel and thinking her korean is pretty good and she is quite a singer but had no idea she was also an actress.
I was watching the first few minutes of the movie Can’t help falling in love, my first filipino movie ever, and this girl that is friends with the female lead is taking selfies and I am like wait, I know this face, she looks so much like that youtuber, then I came to check the cast and yup, its her. Lol
I watched the first 3 episodes and was not able to get into it so I left it on-hold for about a week and meanwhile watched other dramas. One of the dramas I watched and completed in one day with barely any skipping was the drama Someday or One Day. Although the plots are very different both dramas follow a similar pattern of going back in time and trying to change something. While I was super invested with the previous drama, this one felt like a task to watch when I came back to it today. I even started yawning while watching it and that never happens when I enjoy a drama, even if I am actually staying awake during the night to binge-watch it.
I ended up skipping entire episodes and then going right to the last episode and I was like: that’s it? This drama is way too long for the kind of plot it has. That was probably the biggest mistake they made. This should have been 16 eps at most to keep things interesting and the pace steady. Having watched other dramas with a similar plot or vibe, this one lacked in many ways and at the end of the day failed in doing what is most important when watching a drama - entertaining me.
I am unable to keep watching cause this is not a man that grew up thinking that having several wives is the norm. This is someone from the 21st century who clearly knows you are only supposed to be in a relationship with one woman but has the opportunity any playboy would want to have as many women as he wants without getting into trouble. Of course the drama is much more than this but I cannot ignore this trait of the male lead so I am dropping it.
ok so i just finished it... and all i can say is my expectations were too high given the reviews especially that…
The reason is probably because this is not your cup of tea. You said you dont really enjoy time-travel dramas, so it is normal for you to not feel as hyped about this drama as people who do. Take me as an example. I do not really care much for the wuxia genre but have watched several dramas in this genre that I liked, yet I think there was never one that I loved.
I was a little skeptical about this because it is not the first and probably wont be the last drama that I watch with a similar plot. But this one was better than most I have watched so far in the way it was executed. I did not really feel bored and was quite invested while watching it. I guessed a lot of things right, including a "little" detail that happened at the end, but I still kept guessing a few other things.
The ending was bittersweet but not bad. Overall there were no huge plot holes like I have seen in similar dramas, although there were a few things, mostly about the evil character, that I felt needed a little more clarity.
There was a scandal involving the main actor beating up his girlfriend and being arrested so that might have caused…
Yeah. And from what I read the ending is rushed and disappointing. I have had it on hold for a while as I do not want to set it as not interested, at least not yet.
I am wondering about that. Is the drama actually bad or did it drop because people were mad at the main actor?
Oh ok. Now I understand the review that someone left saying they crammed everything into the last ep. They just wanted to get it over with. Thank you for replying. It is a shame cause the plot seemed promising and the hard work of a lot of people was ruined because of the actions of one person.
While the whole event was far from realistic this drama portrayed a very real side of society. It is easy to place the blame on someone, and even easier while suffering, like when your child goes missing, and when something is hard to believe. As many guilty people roam around free, many innocent people have been convicted. Even if some do not actually go to prison, they are judged guilty by the public opinion.
Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty". The new trend, a lot to do with social media and media in general, is "guilty until proven innocent".
I have finished the sequel and no doubt it was a lot more interesting. Pa and Nampeung were a lot more fun to…
Yup. They are twins that lived separately. The twin in the sequel is presumed dead as a baby. While this one grew up to be a soldier, the other one grew up as a thief. The actor is the same of course, but I liked his role as the twin from the sequel better than his role here.
The sequel’s rating is a lot better so I guess I was not the only one with this opinion. XD

The high rating is well deserved.
It is not subbed but I think this seems to be the trailer. It was the video that made me find out about this drama and read your comment. ^^
