Thanks, I appreciate that. You too. :)

Title Roy Arkart
One of the worst thai dramas I have watched. Idk, the whole murder mistery thing was so amateur and old and the romance was barely present and overall I felt this was a complete waste of time and just skimmed through the episodes. Did not regret skipping those, cause it really wasnt my kind of drama.

Yeah. I am pretty sure most of it is the character he has to play on stage. I am suspecting he is already aware of things although he does not understand very well what is going on. And when he is in the shadow he is jealous and possessive of Dan Oh and seems to care more about her. The ending of episode 5 makes it even more likely that he knows whats going on and also played his part in changing the original scene. I have a lot of theories, so I will refrain from reading the webtoon just so I can be caught by surprise when things happen in the drama.

DAN OH LIKES strawberries too but never writer let her have it.....
LOOOL, that is so true. Not only Do Hwa gave her strawberry milk because he felt sorry once he knew she might die any moment, there was also the cake with strawberries that almost fell on her and, if my theory is right and she is turning into the female lead, then she will be having all the strawberries she wants. ^^

I did like the human part about Hotel del Luna. I did feel sorry for and angry at some characters. The ghost part just really isn’t my cup of tea cause it takes out the realism of the story. I am ok with seeing ghosts in horror movies but anywhere else makes it cringy. I like Dan Oh in the drama but I guess it would make sense for her to be more melancholic since she has a heart disease and might die any moment. She probably feels that way in the webtoon since it’s a drawing and you can only imagine her voice and feelings. In the drama a living person is portraying her so it might feel that her character became more spunky because of that, or the script writers might have done it that way to make her character more likeable for teens watching. No idea. Anyway, so far I am liking it, but we never know what might happen in the future.

Ikr, I still remember the strawberry milk scene, poor her, let her have her milk. The writer did not even let her have a sip, so mean. XD

It’s fully sub on IQIYI international app, I’m loving so far
Proper subs or machine generated ones? I deleted the app because all the dramas I wanted to watch only had machine generated subs and they were so bad that I might as well watch it raw.

No problem, I mostly watch dramas for the plot, although I do have a few actors and actresses I like seeing on screen. I agree with you in everything you said, I also was fooled into believing Great was the main character and although I am indifferent to Diana, if they chose them as the main leads then I wanted to see THEM, not Joe. Might as well made Bua the female lead along with Great instead of making her his sister. This drama definitely was the definition of lead baiting.

OMG THERE IS NO PREVIEW FOR NEXT EPISODE :(
Ikr. Ugh T T
And especially with the way episode 5 ended. So many theories running trough my head. I should have waited for episode 6 to be out...except then I would want to watch episode 7. The struggle is real. (Btw, I love your profile pic...Dan Oh looked so funny in that scene)

Well, knowing the story already makes it a lot less interesting for you than for people that are watching without reading the webtoon. I personally do not think this is the best drama or anything but it has been definitely interesting so far. Hotel del Luna in my opinion was a lot more hyped than this one. I mostly watched for the actors and IU’s outfits which were some of the best in drama history, I don’t think she even repeated any of them. The cinematography was also nice and the osts, but the plot, which is the most important thing in a drama, was not that good for it to be considered one of the best dramas of the year. It had a promising plot, yes, but it did not live up to it and the ending was a little underwhelming. For me, I prefer this plot because it has not been done enough times yet for it to be considered a cliché. Other than this one I only know W and Unexpected with similar plots. This is to prove that everyone likes different things and what you have watched/read and how much of it you have done influences how you feel about certain stories. Almost every time I watched a drama that I already knew the story, I never enjoyed it as much as I should because my expectations were set very high and already knowing what would happen next took out the fun of it. That might be what is happening to you.

On Love Is the Best Oct 16, 2019
This is a drama from 2013, but seems more like something you would watch in early 2000s. There are so many accidents, scissors conveniently placed there to cut the female leads hand, piercing objects laying around waiting for people to fall into them, everything is over the top. And I can’t get over the fact that the sister is setting the rules and controlling, or at least trying to control everything and for the the female lead there is never a limit to what the sister can do. As long as the sister says, she follows. The ending proves that. She cannot make decisions for herself, she waits for the sister to tell her what to do. The first 2 or 3 episodes made it seem like we would have a super interesting romance between the main leads, but no, because the sister is the one writing the script for this drama. I am surprised at how this does not have a lower rating.

Actually, she felt more like a main lead at times than the supposed female lead. Her character had a bigger presence and influence in the plot. In fact, when I think about screen time and role in the plot, Joe and Toom were the actual main characters. I definitely would not recommend this drama for the romance between the "main" leads.

You’re right about Joe being the true main lead. The whole story seemed to be written around his character. Every character has a connection with him or is there for the sake of him. The "main" leads romance felt very lacking because of that. We just did not see enough of them for us to feel connected. They met a few times, then they were dating, then he proposed and then they married.

I have a huge problem with this drama. The main leads were not actually the main leads. The story happens around Joe and every character is somehow connected to him or is there for the sake of him, especially women. The main leads had less screen time and their relationship seemed more like a nice friendship rather than love because of that. I just could not feel it. I liked that their relationship happened the right way - they met, became friends and got to know more about each other, dated and then got married. It was not a one night stand, a forced marriage by the parents, a marriage for convenience or for revenge. I liked that. But they felt like second leads.

The story was mainly about how Joe was a playboy and a jerk that always got away with everything, somehow was able to make every woman fall for him to the point of losing brain cells, finally finds one he actually "loves" (I would not call it love, but the writers want us to believe it was so...), but then marries her best friend cause she is rich and his family is in trouble. But don’t get me wrong, it’s not like he sacrificed himself for his family. He flirted with (and took to bed when possible) every women that came across his way. It takes him the death of his mistress and finding out his father is as much of a jerk as him and has a second family, plus getting shot and almost dying to finally realise hey, I am a jerk, I need to do something about it. The way he ended was not believable at all, but it seems a common ending for villains in thai dramas.

So yeah, the drama was centred around Joe and the "main" leads felt like supporting characters.

I did not understand your comment until I went through all the supporting characters of this drama. XDBtw, good…
Yay ^^
I have already started watching, stopped on episode 13. The female lead’s personality is the kind I like. Someone who is smart and knows how to stand up for herself.

This drama is now subtitled in English on the iQiyi app.
But they are machine generated subs. I kinda knew just by the way they translated the title of the drama. I personally would rather watch something raw than have the characters saying I love you and the subs saying "frog is on chair, yes" Lol

Does anyone know where/if this can be found subbed yet?
It is subbed on the iQiyi app split into 2 seasons of 12 episodes each. I have not watched it yet so I am not sure about the quality of the subs but I will let you know once I watch it.

EDIT: Ok, so I used the 1st month free trial vip to be able to check all the episodes and unfortunately this is one of the many dramas in the app that have machine generated subs, which are honestly horrible. Google translator would have done a better job.

Are you talking about this drama? This had the least political stuff I have seen. Sure it had politics but all…
It’s been over a year since I watched this so I do not remember it very well but what I meant with my comment is that the story completely changed the focus from one half to the other. The first half was more like romance and action and then those things started to be less and less important in the second half. Again, it has been a long time and since this was clearly not a memorable drama for me, I do not remember exactly what changed in the plot that made me find the second half less interesting than the first half.
