Agreed. Shinji's change was a little more believable, but he was still a little bit of a bully to Nagi. Gon-san,…
I have to disagree with the part that he loves her. He might be possessive over her but it’s not love. If he loved her he would have never done things like forcing her to do you know what, then brag about it in front of his friends and when she passes out he does not even flinch. Like, if the person you love just passed out in front of you, your first reaction would be to run towards that person without caring about anyone or anything around you. Yet he kept his act and the smirk on his face as if he did not care about her at all. He might have realised his mistakes later, but he had no idea what love is and how to show it. For him it was more important to keep his appearances, aka selfishness. And love is the opposite of being selfish. It is caring for the other person as much as you care for yourself and if that person is not ok, you’re not ok. Shinji definitely did not show any symptoms of being in love other than crying like a baby and stalking her. If a man like him existed in real life, not only would I not be his friend after all of that, but I would have reported him to police the moment he showed up in my place after I went to the trouble of moving away to never have to see him again.
I came here after seeing it was subbed to see if anyone had commented yet. I’m so happy, this is one of the…
I know, right? The person subbing Ban Shu Legend also had this one on her list of future projects, but I guess someone else picked it up. I have no idea if it will be good, but the plot does seem interesting and I have been waiting for so long that there is no way I am missing this one out. I will try to keep my expectations low so I can enjoy it and not feel disappointed.
I wish the dramatic turn of events was shorter and less dramatic and the ending was not very satisfying but considering that I liked most of the drama, especially the first half, I would still recommend this one.
Ok, so everyone waiting for this. From yesterday to today the subbed episodes on dramanice went from 3 to 10, so I guess there is hope for this drama. ^^
I will wait until all episodes are subbed just to be safe, but if you want to start watching it, 1/4 of it is already subbed, so go ahead and have fun.
I can’t say more because the person did not start the subs yet, but is is on the future projects of someone…
The first 3 episodes are subbed on dramanice but since originally the first 3 episodes were subbed on youtube and then the person stopped, I would not start watching until more episodes are subbed. I am going to wait and see if its safe to start watching without having to go through the heartbreak of the subs stopping halfway.

Lol, I just noticed I got their names swapped so instead of agreeing with you I said the opposite. But yeah, I didn’t buy neither of the character changes. People just don’t change that easily. And sure Nagi had her faults, but hey humans are not perfect. But the male leads were not just flawed, they were actual jerks. So I could not root for either of them.
Agreed. Shinji's change was a little more believable, but he was still a little bit of a bully to Nagi. Gon-san,…
Exactly. Shinji was more believable because he could just be a playboy experiencing love for the first time. I still think he is a jerk that did not think how his actions would hurt all those women but at least his depiction was more realistic.
But Gon was just borderline stalker, sociopath, one of those people that bully others to feel better about themselves or to make a good impression in front of others. And the writers want us to believe that he was that way just because he could not be honest about the way he felt or because he was worried about his colleague that broke up that night so he did not admit Nagi was his girlfriend, like seriously? I have never bought for one second that he loved her. It looked more like an obsession and his pride making him not wanting to let go of something that was his at some point.
At first I thought this would be just another drama, but it turned out to be my cup of tea. I wish they got together earlier and that we saw more of them as a couple but at the same time I liked that it was a slow paced romance, but not too slow, and that they took their time. The conflicts were never too annoying or lasted too long and I liked that there were never doubts about his feelings for her. It was not my favourite drama or anything but it was a nice surprise since the first few episodes were not able to grab my attention and I did not have high expectations.
Basically it is a remake of Do Bong Soon, without the super powers or crime stuff, which were like 2 of the main…
Yeah, whoever added it up there should have added it as a recommendation, since it does have some similarities but definitely 2 different dramas. It would be like saying that Unexpected is related to W when they only have the cartoon theme in common.

Yup, I only found out too after reading the comments. I had already watched the first episode and there is no reason for Do Bong Soon to be up there as "related" to this. It would make more sense to add it in the recommendations since there are some similarities but the story is completely different.
The way they paced the first 2 episodes was kinda unnatural and most characters seemed to be overacting. I think they were trying to make it funny?? but it came out cringy.
I do like the female lead’s character and the preview of the next episode made it look like in ep 3 things might get a little more interesting. But I don’t know. The first 2 episodes threw me a little off. Hopefully it will get better.
How come it is related to strong do bong soon? Does the girl also has special powers?
Basically it is a remake of Do Bong Soon, without the super powers or crime stuff, which were like 2 of the main things that made it such an entertaining drama. So yeah, I will keep watching and pretend this is not related at all or I will not be able to enjoy it. There is just no comparison between the 2.
The living inside a cartoon theme is nothing new. W was one of my favourite dramas at the time it aired and only a few months ago I finished Unexpected. But this is a theme that has not gotten old YET. The plot seems interesting but the trailer was not impressive. Hope that the trailer just did not do the drama justice and that it is actually good.
It has been a while since I watched a crime/law drama I liked this much. At first I was not that interested but the parallel world story was interesting with all the cases and I loved seeing his interactions with Bo Na and how he slowly changed. Near the end I felt it dragged a little bit but that was to be expected since it would not be logical to catch the bad guys easily after all that had happened.
I will say tho that this is not for everyone. I am one of those people who likes both fluffy sweet romances and dark crime dramas. But if you are used to only the first kind, you might not be able to handle this so well. It is not graphic or anything but it is pretty heavy, especially when it comes to the main case. I don’t want to spoil it, but there are A LOT of victims, from all age ranges and their deaths are not the prettiest ones. It is not an overly dark drama tho as with all the killings we also get the cutest family moments. The child actress was a big part to making this a better story.
So yeah, if you like crime investigation and law dramas, you will probably like this.
I liked the bickering between the main leads, even if it was very cliché. Yet their scenes started being less and less near the end. There were several episodes in a row where they either did not appear at all or only for a a few seconds. The idea was good and I liked most of the characters but you could tell this was very amateur. It felt like one of those dramas that you only watch when there is nothing better to watch. And that ending, when I already thought it could not get worse, they made the ending a joke. Like seriously, what were they thinking? Good thing I did not like this that much or I would be extremely tilted at that ending.
I honestly skipped from episode 7 to the last episode because I was so bored and the plot was so predictable. They should have just made her date or even be married to Peter 13 years later and that would be a slap on the face of a lot of people. And the person who he ended up with definitely did not deserve him, and I saw it happening from miles away so I decided to just jump to the last episode to get it over with. A shame tho. I just watched another drama with the same main leads and liked that one, but this one was very average, cliché and dramatic.
Not going to be everyones cup of tea. But objectively speaking this is probably the best drama Taiwan has ever…
I agree. Most dramas suffer from pacing problems and it ends up making the viewer feel bored. But this one kept a nice pace. Although I did like the first half better, the second half was not bad.
The first half was definitely more interesting, but the second half was not a draggy wreck like most dramas of this kind. The idea was executed better than in other dramas I have seen, and the story seemed realistic, considering the theme. Not any huge plot holes or anything. The ending was a little...unexpected, in the sense that I would not be surprised if there was one more episode after that. It felt unfinished, although it wasn't. You will understand what I mean when you watch it.
Overall, it was a good drama. Not one of my favourites, but one that might have some re-watch value in a few years.
