Glad I got bored and skipped to the last episode. I would have just wasted more of my time, I did not like who she ended up with. I also found out through spoiler comments that there were some makjang factors I was not aware of and that I would have been frustrated to watch. Yeah, good thing I gave up on this. Phew!
How about the ending? Was it sweet and happy or just disapointing ? Thank u
Well, I watched this 7 months ago so I don’t remember clearly, but considering that in the food example I said the "dessert" they served was delicious then that must mean it was a happy ending, that I probably was not able to fully enjoy because of the disappointment I got from the previous episodes.
Story was interesting but I felt it dragged a little at the end. Also, as someone who loves seeing romance, especially in historical dramas, I wish it had more, if you can say it even had any. The romance tag was not added for a reason.
At first I wanted her to be with Shen Xing Yi but that was just for a moment until he turned out to be an idiot…
Oh ok, so it was not her biological son, she adopted him. Thank you for the info. I honestly skipped too many episodes, I am sure I did not get to know a lot of things.
My problem was that I didn't like either wife. Even to the very end, Woo Jin insisted on a second proposal that…
Although I get your point, lets not forget the drama started with Joo Hyuk doing one of the most selfish things I have ever seen. He abandoned his wife, which meant abandoning his kids too as they would not have existed in the first place, and went looking for another woman. If he had done it in the year 2018, it would be called having an affair since he was already married.
True, his wife was completely nuts, always screaming and being violent, but like he himself admitted later on, he was the one who made her like that. He only had work to worry about but somehow was always busy and tired. She had to work too, while taking care of 2 small kids, a house and (at the time) a useless husband.
A marriage needs the effort of 2 for it to work. That was what this drama taught us. That we should be able to put ourselves in others shoes and both make efforts or neither will be happy.
But like I said, I get your point, she could be very demanding at times, although I still think not as much as Hee Won. Hee Won was a whole other level of selfish and demanding.
The first few episodes might be hard to swallow. He is just too selfish and she is always going nuts. We get to know their faults first, which for some people might result in dropping it. But believe me, if you can get through the first few episodes, you will start seeing not only the faults but also the qualities of each character, and we also get to learn some pretty good lessons about marriage and relationships.
The character development is really good and although this is not one of my favourite dramas of the year, it was still worth my time and I think everyone should watch it at least once.
A lot of positive things to say that would fill an entire page. I really enjoyed it, but at the same time I felt something was lacking. Felt like it had the potential to be even better, to be one of my favourite dramas of the year.
Well, it was a slow-paced romance with a different plot in some ways but still with some clichés. Was not as good as I was expecting. Not bad but definitely overrated.

I have already watched the ending so I wont watch it again but thank you anyway. By the way, the website you shared seems to have some kind of virus, my browser blocked it.
I think what I liked was the way the female lead went back and forth between good and bad. She was not always good, sometimes she would act like a villain and be the most selfish person on Earth. That is something we don’t usually see in a female lead. Other than that, it was nothing special, had many faults and I have seen better.
At first I wanted her to be with Shen Xing Yi but that was just for a moment until he turned out to be an idiot…
If you read the spoiler I wrote, both men die. But at the end it seems like she had a son with the second one. Not sure if he is his son since I skipped so many scenes because I was disappointed with the direction things were going.
It wasnt all bad but if you dont like sad endings and too much tragedy, something we see in most chinese dramas unfortunately, then I would not recommend you to watch it.
I also waited that long because of the main leads, everything else is just average but Seo Kang Joon and Seung…
Yeah, to be honest this was in my plan to watch list for a year until it came out because of the leads too. I like both of them and they were probably what made the drama interesting enough for me to watch until the end and give this an above average rating. If the cast was different maybe I would not have liked it as much and drop it or give it a worse rating.
46 episodes of a story that was so predictable and went nowhere really. And the romance was slow and barely present. This is a drama to watch only if you like historical dramas no matter what or if youre bored and have nothing else to watch. Was kinda disappointed to be honest. It was just another drama with the same plot lines so many others have, nothing new.
Maybe I am wrong but after 4 episodes I was not able to get into the story and started feeling sleepy which never happens when I am enjoying a drama even if its like 3am. So yeah, I ended up dropping it.
I waited almost an year for this. Was it good? Yes, it was. Was it as good as I expected? Unfortunately no. I guess the longer you wait for a drama the higher your expectations are, and the probabity of not meeting them also increases.
More like "No Man Can Stay".If I knew what I was getting into I probably would not have watched it.
At first I wanted her to be with Shen Xing Yi but that was just for a moment until he turned out to be an idiot who thought beating up the woman he likes would make her want to sleep with him. Sigh After that I enjoyed watching her relationship with Wu Ping and was glad they got married, their marriage was so happy and with a baby on the way, oh but wait its a chinese drama so we need some tragedy, lets kill her husband and make her lose the baby. From then on I started skipping a lot of scenes and most of them were boring and btw, guess what happens when it all looks like she could end up with Shen Xing Yi at the end and have the happy ever after...yup, remember, its a chinese drama, so yeah, they dont end up together, he dies.
And now you know why I think the title should be "No Man Can Stay" cause they all gotta go.
This was definitely one of the best 2018 dramas I have watched. What is weird is that I usually don’t like dramas if they don’t have a super deep plot, action and a lot of surprises, yet some of the most recent dramas that I liked were missing all that. Just normal daily lives that somehow are entertaining enough to make a person watch it and fully enjoy it. I laughed so many times with the main leads and other characters and grinned at so many romantic scenes that I can’t count. I will re-watch it for sure.
