The jokes were much better than the ones from Smile Code, some were actually funny, and I liked how it reminded…
The second boyfriend is not even worth mentioning, they were never going to work out, they were too different. Zheng Hao I did not like at first but after all the changes he made, he became quite likable, turns out he had some similarities with the FL.
Now, the ML, why don’t I think he should end up with the FL? Well, although they have a lot in common, they could be great friends but not really a great couple. The ML takes relationships too lightly, starts dating and breaks up as easily, runs from all kind of commitements and cannot provide her with any sort of stability if later on she gets pregnant or her parents get ill. For a life partner she needs someone who can support her choices and let her be herself while being able to commit in some way and by the end Zheng Hao seemed like that guy.
Just the opinion of a 30 year old, I would probably have a different view if I was still 15. ^^'

With that said, when I started watching it had the tag romance and I thought the romance would play a bigger role in the plot and would be worth watching, which was not the case. By the end I actually felt she would be better off with her ex, who I could not stand at first. Read the spoiler to find out why.
Did you watch the second part? Most of what you mentioned happens in the second part. The FL is young and the first part focus more on her character growth. 4.5 seems like a pretty harsh rating. Maybe you just watched it with the wrong expectations, has happened to me before. I do not even watch trailers anymore, not only because they are full of spoilers but because they may create wrong expectations by showing things that play a little part in the plot, are just a dream or only happen near the end.
The rating is so low not because the whole thing is bad but because the ending was questionable and the last 2 episodes after the actual ending (episode 22 wraps up the story) were completely unnecessary.
just read someones starting it again, read Andrew's comment, yeah its only been 2 eps forever
At this point I would rather just wait until it is fully subbed just to be safe, specially when the person who picked it back up was the same one who subbed 2 episodes in the span of 6 years ^^' but thank you for letting me know.
Even dramas with main leads that are NOT unknown are short dramas now. Sigh Please, bring back full length dramas. I do not like where this is going. More and more short dramas keep coming out and less and less full length dramas are airing. T T
I would have done the ending differently but oh well, I guess the writers wanted to go for impact. I also do not know if this is at all based in history so...
I also came to see the comments so that I can decide if I should see it or not
If you haven’t yet, just don’t. It is not a great drama by any means but will leave you angry after it ends so you might as well save yourself from all the stress and go watch something decent.
Xiangbei Regret? More like YiNan Regret. I only feel bad for the female lead, her unborn baby and her friends. Everyone else I could not care less about, including the ML. That jerk of a cousin and the trashy girl I will not even comment on.
This was not a good drama, even for short dramas standards, but I was left angry by the way it ended.
The plot itself was not my cup of tea and I feel the main leads deserved more screen time compared to the other couple, specially with how little importance the other couple was given during the wrap up. I remember there were about 2 episodes around the ep 20 mark where the main leads barely even appeared on screen. The ending, I have seen worse but also feel could have been done better.
Negatives aside, the main leads had great chemistry, loved how the ML’s character was written and thought Ding Yu Xi did a great job portraying him, cannot even imagine someone else portraying Mu Sheng.
For me, unfortunaty, this one does not have much rewatch value BUT if I ever do rewatch it, it will be for all the interactions between Miao Miao and Mu Sheng.
Is it me or the main couple's screentime is very little in recent episodes? I need more of ziqi + miaomiao.
Yeah, I found episode 21 quite boring, the main couple barely appeared in this episode and they did not appear much in episode 20 either. Mu Yao and Liu Fu Yi seem more like the main couple in recent episodes, at least when it comes to screen time.
My Boss is a nice drama.. Worth watching compared to this one.
Yeah, I think I gave My Boss a rating over 7, which for me means it is re-watchable, but still not a great drama and the other 2 or 3 were not good, just like this one. :(
Since the drama The Starry Love, he has only been starring in below average dramas, what a waste for him to be in these dramas. Hopefully his next drama, starring alongside Dilraba Dilmurat, will be better.
The plot for this one is really cliché but not even cliché in a way that is enjoyable to watch, just boring cliché. Probably not worth your time unless you have a lot of free time and nothing else to watch. Even then I would not recommend it considering how it ends.
The plot and editing were all over the place. The writers tried to make up for it with a plot twist and some "real life lessons" but it was not enough. There are better short dramas out there, don’t waste your time with this one.

I guess if you have nothing else to watch you might as well give this one a try but if you have other dramas to watch, just skip this one.
