FL Chase after ML in most drama's ? Which one have you seen, cdrama's are filled with SIMP Male leads nowadays
Sorry, did not notice it was also on the list.
Yeah, I am sure I have some underrated dramas in my list but it is so big that it would take forever to find them. From my stats it seems I have watched over 2000 dramas since I joined MDL back in 2017, but I have been watching dramas since 2010 so it is probably a lot more. ^^'

Damn, you have quite a list there. I have watched almost all of the dramas on the list and a lot of them have a high rating from me too.
I was going to suggest Blossoms in Adversity since it is the most recent one I watched that fits your criteria but I see you have already watched it.
I don’t think I saw New Life Begins in your list. The main leads go through some hiccups but love each other and remain together no matter what, there is no outside interference in their relationship, I mean, there is but they don’t let it affect them, and there is no REAL love triangle, you will understand what I mean once you watch it.
I would like to recommend more but you have watched most of the ones I would recommend so New Life Begins was what came to mind since I am re-watching it with my mother.

Which ones did you watch that you liked? So I can recommend some you have not watched yet. My list of completed dramas is HUGE so I need to narrow it down before recommending something. ^^'

I have watched most cdramas out there and if I count, there are way more dramas where the FL is the one who falls in love first and chases after the ML than the other way around. Tho I agree that recently there have been quite a few dramas with the ML falling in love first.
I like the cast and it not being the FL chasing after the ML like in most dramas (tho from the synopsis it seems she will still be chasing a man, just not the ML, sigh) BUT the synopsis and trailer (including choice of music) are not doing it for me. Gave me the impression this will feel like watching a boring American romantic movie, but 40 episodes long.
If you have watched most of the episodes that have come out, is it worth watching?
Loved almost everything about it from the characters, to the story, and so on.
If I had one complaint, it would be having to see the Emperor’s face on the screen so often. Felt like punching my TV everytime he opened his mouth or showed that disgusting smirk on his face.
This drama creates such controversy regarding the age gap between the main couple. The audiences put so much emphasis…
If it was not for the comments I would not even know there is such a huge age gap. He looks older than her but he definitely does not look 46. The actress he is dating in real life is 19 years younger than him. If people are complaining about his character, I can only imagine what he has to deal with in real life.
The ones I watched were pretty bad. I relied more on my listening comprehension of Japanese to understand what was being said rather than the subs. Maybe you watched with different subs. But like I said, not even the best subs could save this one.
It was an enjoyable watch with both likable and unlikable characters and characters that you grow to like. I would not re-watch it tho.
The story felt like some things were missing here and there, the romance was slow and not worth watching solely for it with the drama being 37 episodes long and the ending was underwhelming. Not a bad drama for a one-time watch but it does not have much re-watch value for me personally.
Felt the same with Crash Landing On You. Maybe the screenwriter’s weakness is wrapping up the story. I loved most of her dramas but they all started getting less interesting near the end.
Gave me the exact same feeling I got when I finished Crash Landing On You, maybe because the screenwriter is the same for both dramas.
At times I loved them, at times I was bored, at times I found them funny, at times I found them too cliché and dramatic, and neither managed to have a hold of my heart up until the last episode. Both lost me at some point. I finished both, I gave both a pretty high rating but I cannot say either of them made it to my list of best kdramas I have watched.
So yeah, it is a good kdrama, but I think people who just recently got into kdramas will be able to appreciate it more than someone like me who has been watching kdramas for over a decade.
I was taught in a media class in college that 'Culture makes the media but media also makes the culture'It is…
Definitely true. Although I believe if your brain has not yet fully developed, so any age below 25...more or less depending on how mature you are, then you are even more impressionable. But like you said, being vulnerable will also play a part no matter how old the person is.
For a short drama this was pretty good. Creative plot, good acting and had the feeling of a high budget regular drama. The main leads also had great chemistry. One of the best short dramas I have watched.
A remake will be at a disadvantage to start with since it will be compared to the original and will most likely bring nothing new to the table.
With so many great kdramas to choose from, to choose an average one and make it worse, no wonder the rating is this low. In fact, the current rating (7.4), still feels too high for what this drama had to offer.
