On Love Song for Illusion Feb 27, 2024
The initial idea seems pretty interesting but the execution had so many flaws that I cannot even consider it to be your average drama, it is below that. I have not read the webtoon but by the comments left by people who did read it, it seems like this would have been better if it followed the webtoon.

Had it on hold since episode 4 and ended up finishing the whole thing as soon as episode 16 was out, not because it was so good that I could not help but to binge-watch it, but because I just wanted to get it over with.

Title My Dearest
I get you believe me but I still feel you should go till the end. part 2 improves their relationship a lot and…
I used to really like Korean historical dramas. Empress Ki is one of my favourite historical kdrama to this day. I have watched it 3 times already even tho it has a lot more episodes than your average Korean drama. But I have felt that in recent years historical Korean dramas have been a let down, not all of them, but most of them.

I have found that for modern day dramas I tend to lean towards Korean and for historical I find Chinese dramas have kept me more invested.

Title 19th Floor
I wanted to really like it, give it a 9 or even a 10 BUT while the first half was interesting enough, not amazing but interesting, the second was all over the place.

It was mostly a writing problem. It felt like characters and situations were created without much thought and then the writer had to come up with ways to explain the how and why, no matter how far-fetched they were.

It was still an interesting watch, but it definitely could have been better.

Title Marry My Husband Spoiler
From ep 1 starting minute itself, writers brainwashed us to believe Jiwon is victim, no matter what. We root for…
Her marriage was hell, she was treated like trash, she probably stopped loving him a long time ago. In fact, it is shown that she did not even want to marry him but was afraid of him because he was violent towards her and thought she had no other choice but to marry him.

About the friend, if your best friend has constantly been ruining your life, is having an affair with your husband and causes you to die, why would you be curious about WHY? What Su Min did was so bad that knowing why would make no difference. She just wanted to cut ties with her, which any normal person would want to do in this situation. Being curious about the WHY is normal, but cutting ties and staying away from such a crazy person seems more important than finding out WHY they are out to get you.

The only thing I agree with you is how Ji Hyuk was basically written just to be the FL’s saviour. He did need a little more backstory and personality. But at the end of the day he was given a second chance just for the sake of saving her so it makes sense he acted that way.

So there is romance? I am pretty sure romance was either in the genres or the tags initially, but it is not there…
I don’t mind the lack of skinship. It seems like the overall opinion is that this is a great drama and the romance is only one of the many things that was done well. I will definitely start watching it soon.

I am rewatching fron the beginning, and it's crazy how tightly they filled the show with major events and action.…
So there is romance? I am pretty sure romance was either in the genres or the tags initially, but it is not there anymore so I am confused why someone would remove it when I have read several comments mentioning romance.

Title Born to Run Spoiler
The FL ended up with who I though she would since the start but her husband becoming a cheating trash was not…
Like I said, the romance is very disappointing. They get together near the end and I don’t remember any intimacy, maybe a kiss.

Title My Boss
At first I almost felt like dropping it. The start seemed really cliché, there was too much focus on the secondary characters and I was finding the main leads interactions and work life boring.

I decided to push through it since I hate leaving things unfinished and at some point I started to enjoy the drama and made it a routine to watch it everyday while having breakfast. I did not try to watch a lot of episodes each day, only 1 or 2, since I had to wait for propers subs from Viki.

I wish the ending was more exciting but overall I enjoyed this one.

Coming soon on WeTV singapore with eng subs on Feb 22, NonVIP update 1EP everday day, VIP update every Thu-Sun…
Great. I was watching on kisskh and only the first 4 episodes have decent subs. I am not expecting much from this one since the ML is being so toxic and abusive but bad subs are definitely not making the experience any better.

Does anyone know exactly when will season 3 be released this year? I meant, which month?
I don’t think a specific date has been announced. The most we know is that it is supposed to air during the summer so somewhere from June to August 2024.

Not super boring, but the change in second half gives u other vibe
Definitely. I think the first half was more my cup of tea, the second felt like a lot was going on while nothing was happening at the same time, it was weird. ^^'
On A Killer Paradox Feb 13, 2024
If you like thriller/crime dramas it is watchable but as other people have said the first and second half feel like two completely different dramas.

I have a more neutral response to this one, I don’t think it is super boring like some have complained but I also don’t think it is a great drama. A one-time watch for me.
On Marry My Husband Feb 7, 2024
About 2 or 3 weeks ago I told my sister, who is also watching this, that everything was going so well that I was afraid that since most of the things were solved and the female lead was relatively happy, from there on it would go downhill like I have seen happening with so many other kdramas.

I have noticed a pattern where the drama will be great for the first 12 episodes and then the last 4 will make you want to call the writers to yell at them. And here we go, episode 11 was pretty good, I felt happy for Ji Won and how far she came....then episode 12 happened and the preview for episode 13 only seems to confirm that it will get worse. Sigh

Hopefully I am wrong and we will not have to wait until the last 10 minutes of the last episode to see the villains punshined and the protagonists happy.

P.S. - I don’t think I spoiled anything since I did not mention any specifics but let me know if you think I did.

Title Born to Run
Did the FL lose her legs? I read the synopsis and it said the accident claimed the legs of Anxin
Yes, her legs had to be amputated.

Title Born to Run Spoiler
A good drama to watch for the living with a disability part. Seeing the female lead overcome all of those hurdles…
The FL ended up with who I though she would since the start but her husband becoming a cheating trash was not necessary. They could have still divorced because they grew apart with all the stress that came from her disability. Him cheating on her several times without ever being honest with her and the way he chose to end things was really disgusting.

And let’s not even talk about Ruo Hua. I mean, I am ok with the guy she ended up with, but there should have been some development. After showing her dating the first guy and even having her first time with him only after a few dates, and then going on so many blind dates and almost even marrying someone completely different, couldn’t they at least give us a few episodes of her and the last guy dating or something?

I know this was not focused on romance, but still, the relationships could have been less frustrating. Ruo Hua’s mother was frustrating enough and there were plenty of hurdles for both female leads, no need to make their romantic life frustrating to watch too.

Sorry, I just felt like ranting. ^^'

A good drama to watch for the living with a disability part. Seeing the female lead overcome all of those hurdles was motivating and humbling. Don’t watch for the romance tho. The romance was very disappointing for me.
On Different Princess Feb 3, 2024
I almost dropped it at first. I was not really getting into the story and Ireine Song did not seem to fit a historical setting. Her small frame makes it hard for those dresses to fit her, it was not flattering at all, almost like seeing a kid wearing her mother’s clothes.

But I decided to give it a few more episodes and eventually warmed up to it, it even became one of the dramas I enjoyed watching the most at the moment since there are barely any new historical cdramas coming out. I would have made a few changes to the ending but overall I enjoyed the drama for what it was. Not a great drama or anything but pretty entertaining to watch if you give it a chance.

Sorry I just don’t see Kotoko’s charm. I don’t find her cute at all 😭 I saw a clip of the visual group…
I thought me and my mother were the only ones thinking that. I mean, she is charismatic, but her singing and dancing is not on the same level as the other girls. Her spot in the debut lineup should have been for Narumi, who in my opinion showed a lot more skills than her while also being extremely charismatic on stage.
Replying to lenis Jan 31, 2024
oh my god... how can a show have a worse debut lineup than runext.... only gehlee and hyeonju from my picks will…
I think Narumi not making it was what bothered me the most but otherwise when it comes to talent the debut lineup was better than most of the shows I have watched.

Sure, Elisia and Lim Seo Won are pretty young, but they are very talented and definitely deserve their place in the group. They both have great voices but also pick up dancing pretty easily and have great facial expressions and charisma on stage. Kotoko for example only meets the third criteria, so I personally think Narumi deserved to be in the debut lineup more than her.

Kim Sejeong was right to say they should not keep her for too long, but because they never eliminated her, she ended up taking the spot that could have been for someone more talented. I have noticed that there is always at least one person like her in every Korean survival show, someone who gets to debut because they have the visuals/are cute even if they are not as talented as everyone else.

I see in your site that you have completed the first episode but I cannot find it there nor in the facebook page.
It has been 3 years since I left my comment, I’ve already watched it. But thank you for trying to help. Someone else might read your reply and know where to find it subbed.
