You’re the second person asking me to mark it as spoiler but I do not see where the spoiler is. I did not reveal who her friend is or anything that happens in the plot. Please, let me know what did I say that is a spoiler so I can edit.

I felt the same. I watched in my native language, Portuguese, because I was watching with my mother and time and time again I had to correct the translations and explain to her what was actually said in Korean.

This was not a bad drama, I liked a lot of things about it BUT it had a huge flaw - it focused on everything but the protagonist.

I was expecting the drama to focus on Seo Mok Ha, on her adapting to modern society (I mean, she was alone in an island for 15 years), her career and progression as a singer, her romance...yet most of the drama she becomes a supporting character in Yoon Ran Joo’s story and in the brothers story.

For a 12 episode drama, there were way too many sub-plots and main characters. Yoon Ran Joo’s story and dialogs with president Lee were mostly boring and the brothers story was predictable. I was pretty sure who Jung Ki Ho was early on, how he got to where he was and how he was related to each character around him. Even the actions of his father down to the last episode were way too predictable.

With that said, they should have found a better balance. The sub-plots should have remained in the background and the focus should have been on Seo Mok Ha.

So my opinion is that this was not a bad drama, it had some good lessons and music and it made us feels all sorts of emotions, but to me it was not as good as it could have been or as I had expected it to be.

This is just my opinion. I have been watching Korean dramas for almost as long as Seo Mok Ha stayed on that island so my expectations are pretty high.

This seems like your usual cliché plot that has nothing new to offer but I am surprised the rating is already so low at 7.2

I will wait a while before watching to see if there are any changes. I still have a lot of dramas I want to finish before that anyway.

This is like the female stalker version of Iyashi no Otonari-san ni wa Himitsu ga aru, but worse. Haven’t watched this one yet, just my thoughts after reading the synopsis.

As a person with a good mental health, most of the time, I understand this is fiction and all but I worry what kind of message this is putting out there. Wouldn’t this be an incentive for stalkers and distort the way victims see stalking? What if people start thinking this is normal and acceptable?

I am mostly worried about teenagers since they are very susceptible. Seems like it has been a trend for them and young adults to get into and remain in toxic relationships and I believe media and the entertainment industry have played a big role in this.

Hard to say, for me it dragged for most of the drama. Everytime it looked like the main leads would get together they did not, then they did but it did not feel like they were together, then there was lack of communication, the characterization was a mess.

But if you are liking it so far, keep going. If you start getting annoyed with all the push and pull, just skip around like I did.

This should be named Only for Bai Lu and Dylan Wang cause they were the only reason I even kept watching.

This should have been at most 24 episodes. The push and pull game between the main leads was tiring to watch. They took the phone ringing to interrupt kiss to a whole other level. There were way too many supporting characters and secondary couples. It was so draggy and slow it was painful to watch with only a few scenes here and there that I liked.

The more I watched the more I felt like the director thought since Bai Lu and Dylan Wang were the leads that is was enough for us to see them on screen and there was no need to put any effort into the plot and characterization.

These are my honest thoughts, I am not a hater, I just think the actors deserved better than this.

The episodes are not out yet but I can see they added a page for it. I am not sure I will watch it since it does not seem like a great drama and I have quite a few dramas I am watching right now but thank you for letting me know.

He is one of those singers that give you goosebumps when he sings. He is so good.

Yeah, your brain is left very confused. If I had not seen some of his videos singing I would not believe it if someone else told me. Such great vocals. I was blown away.

I don’t know why but Charlie Zhou was the name that sticked in my mind, maybe because most people called him Charlie in Keep Running, not sure. But thank you for letting me know. I can tell you are a fan. Hard not to like him when he is so talented and from what I have seen from Keep Running he also seems like a nice person. ^^

Yeah, I have read about it. I had to search him up after finding out he sang the ending song of this drama and was amazed by how talented he is and how many drama osts have him singing. I have also read that the dramas that have him singing one of the osts are usually great dramas.

Aside from Keep Running I have never watched other Chinese programs and have never heard him sing until now. I also knew him as Charlie Zhou instead of Zhou Shen. ^^'

Yeah, definitey one of the best Chinese singers.

I actually knew Charlie Zhou from Keep Running but could never have guessed a song with such high pitches was not sang by a woman. Even now that I know this, I still keep second-guessing everytime I listen to the song. ^^'

The romance and medical aspect were good but there were way too many people being over the top, unethical and right down criminal for just one drama.

The ending was realistic but not properly fleshed out. 6.5/10 because I would consider re-watching anything above 7 and I unfortunately would not re-watch this one.

Definitely. I think it is a shame when below average dramas come out, but it is a bigger shame when something that has so much potential is not properly explored, it feels like a waste, like getting your favorite dessert and letting it fall on the floor after the first bite.

I usually do that too but when this one had just started, I think only 6 episodes were out, I had nothing else I felt like watching and needed something to watch while I had lunch, so it became sort of a routine to watch the new episodes everyday.
