Since no one is talking about this, I will try to explain without spoilers.
So, Woo Jin is a celebrity that decides to take a break from everything because some years ago he got into a huge accident in which his girlfriend died. Because he has hyperthymesia, everywhere he goes where he previously went with his girlfriend or anything that is familiar at all can trigger memories that to him are painful since she is gone.
Do Hae Soo was also in an accident, which I wont go too much into detail, and because of that accident, she loses her memories after about a month, as she describes it, after a month her memories reset and go back 5 years.
These 2 come across each other and she slowly helps him heal while he also helps her in many situations.
The story itself, although cliché, is not that bad. The huge problem, in my opinion, is that each episode is only 10 minutes long and about half of that is used for the intro and outro songs, so each episode is really just about 5 minutes long and it still has a lot of flashbacks and supporting characters being on screen. And because of that, there was not enough time for the main leads to actually develop a relationship. It felt like they helped each other out and developed a friendship, then some secrets were revealed and then it ended, just like that.
It is implied that they like each other, or would it be more accurate to say that he likes her?? (cant explain without spoiling the ending), but they dont actually date, there are no confessions or anything like that.
So if you are looking for a short romance, this might not be for you. It’s more about healing, and even that is not well-developed because of how short this is. If you cut out the intro and outro and add everything together, it is about as long as a movie, and not one of those 2 hour long movies.
Well, I hope my randomly put together sentences (its 3 am ^^') somehow help you decide if you want to watch this or not.
I think I watched the original in 2017 and I watched this remake in 2022, so I am not even going to compare both as I do not remember every detail about the original.
I honestly thought this was way too long, probably around 24 episodes would have been more than enough and would have avoided many clichés and unnecessary sub-plots. My problem is that with so many episodes we still did not get as much romantic scenes as we get in some 16 episode dramas. Most of the screen time was wasted on the villains planning and executing their plans on how to break apart the main leads. Also, these villains got off too easily. A criminal that does not fully pay for their crimes will most likely continue to commit more and worse crimes.
If you recently watched the original and want to watch the remake, you will probably be disappointed. I don't recommend watching this right after watching the original because you will find yourself comparing both and by default the original will win.
Overall, it was not a bad drama, just wish it had less clichés and was more focused on the main leads and their relationship rather than on those 2 (technically 3) crazy women that tried everything to break them apart.
Hi, any recommendation dramas with similar plots which are better than this? TIA :)
It has been 2 years so I dont remember the plot. Try to do an advanced search with the tag Revenge and pick some dramas. Maybe you will find some good revenge dramas. I have not watched revenge dramas lately and cannot think of one to recommend.
The movie is 1h and 30 minutes long and the main leads meet in person for the first time around the 1h mark?? In my opinion, the build up to their meeting took way too long.
P.S. - This movie is very depressing and might not be for you. Check the tags first before deciding to watch.
Nam Da Jung, honey, it is one thing to be a trusting and generous person, it is another to be dumb. The whole time I was expecting for a huge plot-twist because I could not believe she was that bad at decision making but nope, she is just THAT dumb.
Some of the twists I had already expected, unfortunately, the one I wanted to see the most did not happen.
Anyway, apart from the FL being one of the least intelligent people in the bunch, this was a pretty interesting watch with some skipping.
Wish it was not a short drama because changing episodes is too much work. ^^'
With that said, it was a pretty good watch. Nothing great but pretty entertaining. The ending, as usual, was not the ending we all wanted but at this point I have seen it happen so many times that I was not even that bothered.
When it comes to short dramas, I think I can recommend this one. It is better than your average short drama.
For me, there is a thin line between a drama that is funny and is kind of a parody and something that just seems cheap. Unfortunately, this one was the later.
The story, the editing, the acting, even the audio, everything is messed up. It is neither good for the comedy nor for the mystery. It is just a drama that has both genres and that is not good at either of them.
It is unfortunate because I like the actors playing the main leads. I think they deserve a lot better than this low budget mess.
I have tried different VPN for VIU the only that works is for Philippines don't know if this could help you.
5 is ok according to MDL standards. And it was just that, ok, watchable. I would never watch it again, not even just the "best" scenes. It was that mediocre.
its kinda funny that u wrote that there were too many unnecessary deaths but the drama's title is literally "all…
Well, by the end they were NOT all dead so...
What I meant was that there were a few deaths that would have never happened if they had just used their brain. Two in particular were extremely unnecessary and felt like they just happened to make this more dramatic and make people remember it for longer.
So, my issue is not with the number of deaths, but with what caused them.
The rating, the synopsis but mainly the trailer are screaming low budget, bad cgi, bad acting, bad script, bad everything. Not sure I want to even give it a try. ^^'
I watched the first 4 episodes with my mother since she also enjoys k-dramas and is a fan of the criminal genre and of course, Criminal Minds.
But we have not gone back to it for months. I havent spoken about it and she has not asked me for the next episode, even tho when watching other k-dramas we would binge-watch several episodes when we both should have gone to sleep long ago. ^^'
That is to show how lacking this felt. I tried not to compare it to the original, but the writers did not help because they tried to make some characters have backgrounds and personality traits that are similar to JJ, Garcia, Dr. Reid. And one character seems to be a mix of Gideon, Hotchner and Rossi all in one??, like someone else has already mentioned in their review. The problem is that they completely failed at accurately portraying these characters. If they wanted to do that, they should have done it right. Otherwise, just create completely different characters with their unique traits.
The profiling, the traveling to the crime scene, the inspiring quotes at the beginning and ending of the episodes, all these things were also either completely missing or just not well-executed.
At the end of the day, this just did not feel worth watching? And let me tell you that I love the cast and HATE to drop dramas, so imagine how bored I felt that I still gave up on this one.
how great would it be if mgtv started to properly sub their dramas
Ikr? If they dont bother subbing it properly, they might as well not claim it has Eng subs, giving us false hope. Their subs are so bad that watching the episodes raw makes more sense.
Why is no one even talking about this? And I mean the plot, not the actor playing the male lead. XD
Usually not talking about a drama means its so bad that people dont even bother to review it or leave a comment but not SO bad that they HAVE to talk about it because they are angry that they wasted their time watching it. ^^'
Since no one is talking about this, I guess I will be the one to explain why the rating is so low and why people dont even bother to review it or even leave a comment.
So, the main problem, from what I gathered even with all the chunks I skipped, is that this is not about the main leads, the FL or the ML, this is about everyone. Confused?
Well, at the start the FL is dating a guy, they soon break up. His character feels like a complete waste of screen time so you would think since they broke up he would completely stop appearing or maybe only appear once or twice near the end to create some sort of conflict. But no, his story is still being shown after that, even tho no one cares. And like him, there are other characters that just steal screen time that could have been given to the main leads instead.
I honestly spent 1 hour at most going through all the episodes because this was THAT boring.
So yeah, nothing to see here. If no one is talking about it, it is because there is nothing to talk about. ^^'
There are so many dramas with ratings of 9 and over that are nowhere as good as this one.It really depends on…
Sorry, read my reply again. I edited it. The first reply I wrote I had not gone back to read my previous comment and did not understand what you meant so I thought you meant something else.

Do you mean why did I watch All of Us Are Dead considering how it ends?
If that is what you meant, All of Us Are Dead is pretty recent and I felt like watching it so I just did? lol
But I only came across the other 2 dramas I mentioned in my previous comment a few days ago, and after reading the comments I am aware they are supposed to have more seasons. So to avoid frustration, I am waiting for those to air first.
I was not aware of how All of Us Are Dead would end and I dont think there is even a second season planned so I assumed it would be ok to watch. I was wrong. I felt slightly angry after finishing All of Us Are Dead, which is why I dont want to repeat my mistake by starting something I know is not finished. ^^'
