How quickly do you expect her to get over her ex? It's only been a few weeks since her two-year relationship ended…
Yeah, Yoon Song Ah is one of the most mature k-drama female leads I have seen and its interesting how people are picking on her too after picking on the male lead lol

How quickly do you expect her to get over her ex? It's only been a few weeks since her two-year relationship ended…
Omg yes, preach this! Idk why people want them to get together so soon, when Song Ah has said time and time again that she needs to find herself first after breaking up with a long term boyfriend. Slow burn romance is the best thing for both of them right now because they both have baggage from the past, especially Song Ah, and its not toying with his emotions because she sincerely likes Hyeun Seung but not ready for a relationship yet. She wants him ti fight for her because she wants to go to him too, but she needs some time. I find it interesting because the last time she rejected him she didn't say "I don't like you" but instead said "you're too good for me" so Song Ah is healing and growing from her past relationship and even her family so she can be with Hyun Seung.

LJW probably asked Jae Shin to marry his sister because at that time he was desperate and her sister literally…
Yeah they have a complicated relationship and I hope that gets addressed in the future because there is a power dynamic between the two which Jae Woon clearly isn't aware of, and Jae Shin who can't move past.

I love this drama so much... I am looking forward to Song Ah's love for Hyun Seung.
Me toooooo, everything about their chemistry is so perfect, the height difference, the visuals, the playfulness aaaaaa

I don’t really understand the rationale for the ML to ask his sister to deliberately cancel on the wedding dress…
The bridal house is their family business and they can refuse service if they want. Hyun Seung didn't want his sister to be involved in making dress for the marriage with that kind of cheating, especially considering how much Song Ah means to him. It's definitely personal, but its a big deal for Hyun Seung and he doesnt take that lightly.

I agree with you. There are a lot of Asian dramas out there that try to romanticize controlling behavior, but…
Yes absolutely! What I love about this drama is how it handled the reaction of the FL because she reacted very realistically to the situation. It was neither of their fault for being in this situation, but she deserved to have learned the truth. Although she was embarassed for learning about it from a junior, it was better than learning about it AFTER the guy married the other girl and she was made a fool about it in front of everyone else. Song Ah was also in control of the situation because Hyun Seung made sure she didn't create a scene in public by stopping her that evening when she found out. That was not controlling behavior but an action that came from an honest place on Hyun Seung part. She was made a fool either way because she was cheated on but Hyun Seung was always there for her. He even made her feel safe because she was able to finally cry in front of someone (she didn't even do this with her best friend from middle school!) Also it seems like she has trauma from the past (her father might have cheated on her mother) so this is no easy matter for her. I think Hyun Seung really suits her because he is always honest about his feelings towards her and that's a positive trait in my book.

I love the simple yet addictive plot. The ML is charming, manly and cute at the same time, and he only has eyes…
Same here! I actually didn't like Rowoon's character in Extraordinary You because the character was very one dimensional (because of the plot itself), but Rowoon is totally showing that he can act with a wide range of emotions in this! I'm weary of some idol actors, but he is able to make Hyun Seung his own and put life into the character. I hope he gets to act in more noona romances in the future because he is nailing this role right now and hope to see more of him in the future

A lot of people hating on the ML for acting the way he did in the first two episodes, and I had no problem with any of it which makes me wonder if we are watching the same drama. It baffles me that people didn't like the fact that he was direct to his sunbae about her bf cheating her and showing her firsthand what a piece of shit he is. If something was happening to my friend, let alone my crush, I would do the same, even though they might hate me for it. Also I am pretty sure Song Ah she wouldn't believe anything Hyun Seung said about her bf cheating unless she saw it with her own eyes. The way they both dealt with the situation was extremely human and I don't understand why people are making the ML a bad guy for his actions. He acted with honesty and transparency which is not something we can say about most characters in the show. I love the ML here a lot and I'm willing to defend him because although he is not perfect he NEVER acts without the FL's consent like he owns her life. He also makes it clear that he likes her without playing the victim and owns up to his emotions which I respect. Also I am sure he wanted to play the fake boyfriend is because he had his own traumatic experience with an ex in the past so he wanted to help her in his own way. People act like fake dating is a new and taboo thing in dramaland when it is a very common occurence. Heck, just a while ago I was watching Run On and in one of the earlier episodes he literally just kissed the FL and told the reporters they were dating to get out of some situation while he was drunk. Compared to things like that, the ML and his actions are not problematic at all, unless I am really not seeing why people are getting butthurt over his actions. There are other stuff people like to nitpick about the ML but I think people are not used to seeing MLs being so open and direct with the FL before. But I don't think that makes him creepy, and the FL always knows when to draw the line and they are both consensual about it so I see no problems.

I'm sad Lee Jae-woon is the one who asked Jae-shin to marry his sister after her suicide attempt. :( I was expecting…
LJW probably asked Jae Shin to marry his sister because at that time he was desperate and her sister literally tried committing suicide, also the way Jae Shin makes it sound really annoyed me this episode. In the flashback you see LJW ask him, not order him, but ultimately Jae Shin could have always said no because I don't agree that LJW ever acted like he owns Jae Shin, its the guilt that he feels for using his money which makes him project that on LJW. He plays the victim all this time and Song Ah was right when she said that he acts like a "teenager" with the victim mentality. Jae Shin thinks his friend ordered him when for LJW he was just asking his friend if he would marry her because he was scared of losing his sister at that moment in the hospital. I don't think that changes the fact that in the end Jae Shin made the decision to marry her, and nobody coerced him except that girl who needs serious psychological help for manipulation and narcissistic tendencies. She's the kind of rich girl who always gets her way and if not she will make things go her way due to her upbringing.

Totally Agree
2) I love how people get butthurt about the fake dating thing, its like none of them have watched those cliche tropes about fake marriage/dating/living together before. Its a common plot device in dramaland lol

Lee Jae Shin and Lee Jae Woon's relationship is so funny to me. LJS is like "I owe this chaebol family, so now…
I love this comment. Honestly I really love LJW's character, from the first scene at the rooftop. I feel like its very sad how LJS doesnt consider him a friend rather than someone he owes something to. Even LJW asks his sister, "you should be considerate of my friend and his feelings" i think its unfair that LJS tries to blame his actions on his friend because LJW doesnt really care about anything but their friendship, like he isnt even forcing him to do anything

yeah i'm pretty sure Joo Dan Tae killed Min Seol Ah, remember that flashback with JDT pushing her off the building? I rather believe that flashback than the flashback of a drunk person who couldn't remember what she was doing for half the series lol
