Lol im one of the crazy ones who thinks about how this makjang is a social critique on post capitalism and how yoon hee lacks class consciousness because the story is a dystopic capitalist world with joo dan tae as the figurehead of the capitalist merchant who profits off poor people and stealing their property. Also the penthouse is the symbol of wealth accumulated on the backs of suffering of dead orphans like seol ah, which is the product of free market capitalism (its not a surprise that dan tae is literally an investor of capital to make profit). But yeah i can go on and on but Im pretty sure that was not the original intention of the writer lololol

I find it a bit ridiculous that knowing how smart Soo Ryun is, how come she didnt realize her kids were being abused by their father? I think that's a pretty bad plot hole, along with the fact that she is taking revenge on her kids instead of having actually reprimanding them or teaching them how to be good kids. Her relationship with her kids really bother me too

my favorite crazy makjang plot hole is when min seol ah gets sent to the united states for bone marrow transplant. thats not how bone marrow transplants work, you don't just illegally adopt kids from orphanage randomly for free bone marrow lol
