Everyone in the drama are not perfect characters and have a lot of shit going on (Eunbyul getting mentally tortured and SH and SK getting physically/mentally tortured) and although thats the case that doesnt change the fact that EB is still a total psycho like her mom, just like Ro Na is still a gullible brat like Eun Hee. Just because she wants to protect her mom's image doesnt change those character flaws of her. She is the one who should have confirmed what she saw with her mom, like it doesnt need her to be emotionally dependent to be bringing it up to her, knowing full well that she was manipulated before by these same people. And yeah I agree that it was also her moms fault last time for not telling her about what happened with Seo Jin but, again, she never confirmed those accusations against her mom but was acting passively with her. Ro Na needs to get psychiatric help for getting bullied just like all those teenagers, Hera Palace is toxic af and we can agree on that.

Eh, the issue isnt that she isnt supposed to be suspicious of the photo in her mom's phone, but the issue is she didnt bring it up to her mom. Rona's problem is that she is too gullible and believes anything her enemies say. It happened last time too when Eun Byul blamed her mom for attacking Seo Jin. But she didnt talk to her mom about it and was being passive aggresive. Her mom practically works her ass off to feed and send her to that ridiculous school, but she is the one who wanted to go in the first place and forced her mom to join Hera Palace because she wants to be a cool kid. But now she blames everything on her mom. Sure, she is a teenager but she is still a spoiled dumb brat for being gullible.

I might be one of the few, but I actually like this drama because nobody here is a "good" character, like everyone is trash in their own way but they're also very human and driven by their own version of the seven deadly sins, and that makes the dynamic way more interesting. Every action is dramatized for full effect. I personally think the writers/producers are extremely self conscious about spinning the makjang genre and having a lot of fun with it (ex: the baseball scene when Logan Lee scores a homerun, and the golf cart scene when the kids fall off the golf cart after lightning strikes out of nowhere). You can't convince me that there wasn't a lot of thought put into that to make things look even more dramatic. The production value of this drama is also A+ including the sets, wardrobe choice, and you can't help but love to hate all the characters.

At first I had my doubts about this drama, but it's slowly creeping up on me lol
