That's a good observation and a fair point. Chan Hyuk could have told her the truth earlier. He is at fault on…
I think what the writers are implying about Eun Hee is that she needed to apologize to Chan Hyuk (and Eun Joo too) about cutting them off from her life suddenly and not bothering to talk it out before cutting ties. It seems like she just went off-the-grid without actually communicating with Chan Hyuk. I do agree that Chan Hyuk was at fault for not telling her about Eun Hee's boyfriend but I thought it was said that Eun Hee's bf told Chan Hyuk that he told her already?

Love OCN. Odd to see romance tag in an OCN drama lol but ill watch it anyway!
I think the romance tag is justified here considering it is part of the bigger mystery plot and doesn't deviate from the story itself (so far, at least). You should def give it a try!

Title Into the Ring Spoiler
Today's episode was my favorite so far! I loved how the progressive party guy commented about council members joining politics for two reasons: desire to change things and to flaunt themselves. It was spot on when he compared Hee Su who joined for both of those reasons, with Se Ra, who joined for neither reason. I think that's exactly what makes her one of my favorite rom com female leads this year. She is smart and able to pack a punch, and the sincerity and honesty that she exudes is her charisma. Some people mentioned how she can seem like a big child, and I personally find that endearing, because she is always at her 100% and there's nothing two-faced about her. You get what you see with Goo Sera. Stripping away the need for grandeur, she just pushes through at every moment, not because she is a "social justice warrior" who wants to change the world but because she doesn't take things at face value, and if she sees a problem in front of her face, she wants to solve it. Se Ra doesn't make excuses and deals with it. Not only her interpersonal issues but also the issues of the people around her.

I hope this drama continues to deliver, and doesn't lose its momentum. It has a high entertainment value so far.

I really don't mind seeing Se Ra's rough physical contact with Gong Myung and I find it funny how he's accepting…
Same! You can tell she's the rough kind (let your imagination run haha) who takes charge and Gong Myung secretly would like it :3 I have no problem with her being physical, I think a lot of it is the cultural norm too where people who are close to each other are rough (like her mother beating Se Ra when she found out about her suspension). Also Gong Myung keeps his personal boundary with others so when he complains about Se Ra coming on to him or giving him a sneak attack, it seems like a lot but I think it helps to open him up haha

Tbf, Jin Sook is to blame as well, if she felt like something was up, she should have brought things up to her…
Lol yes I posted that before it was revealed her bio father wasn't even in the wedding, but yeah the whole thing was a total mess, they need to communicate with each other!!
On Into the Ring Jul 11, 2020
Despite the cliches (childhood friends, past trauma, cold male lead, rich dad etc.), this drama has managed to be extremely entertaining. I don't think there are any dramas that directly deal with council politics and I totally like that spin on it. My only complaint is that I need more screen time between the leads and wish they will get closer to each other and help each other out. From what I see, it is already happening but they only see each other as passersby.

Title Dinner Mate
I really enjoyed the entertaining parts of the drama when the lead characters were getting to know each other and going on dinner dates, but then the exes came into the picture and it turned into an annoying mess. Why they gotta do the story dirty by adding unnecessary exes, they do this in a lot of dramas and serves no point because these exes are usually super one dimensional and toxic. Anyone knows these relationships failed because of a good reason, no reason to bring these people again who can't seem to take a hint. Completely annoying and useless characters/plot.

Korean definition of 18+ is hardly anything too crazy, so I think you should be fine :D

tbh i'm getting tired of Eun Hee's storyline. I wish more time is given to the maknae.
Yeah, I'm probably one of the few who's not as invested in Eun Hee and Chan Hyuk/VP love triangle. I'd also rather have more Eun Joo and Sangshik/Maknae or Sangshik and Jin Sook, because I just love the family dynamic

We have two more weeks left, yet this show keeps giving! I love how there are still things to anticipate and nothing feels rushed so far

I know this sounds kind of superficial, but nothing annoys me more than high pitched voice of a FL, Ive dropped…
IU is #based because her music and acting career are both blossoming. I would go as far as to say she is one of the top idol actors (compared to Bae Suzy etc. who can't emote for shit, no offence). I think some actors are also just naturally suited for certain characters but its also commendable when they take varied roles to grow which IU has done (from SHR to MA and then HDL, all her characters are layered and different from the other).

He looked so dashing kicking it!!! hahhahaha
I'm such a sucker for calm and collected male leads who have these lapses of losing their chill, super dashing!!

I don’t think she is MY’s mother because she was in her literature class on episode 3, I guess she would have…
At this point I'm just thinking MY's mom is the ghost but only time will tell

This is an unpopular opinion but SYJ does a much better job at portraying the "woman unhinged" character than IU, although I still loved her in My Ahjussi etc. lol

I love how among online communities like MDL its one of the highest rated, but apparently not doing so well in…
I know right! This is the reason why I obsessively check the ratings too, because I dont want to be disappointed like what happened in Born Again (RIP) but yeah. For some reason I thought it was a pre produced drama though because it looks so meticulous and perfect (in pacing, storytelling, cinematography)???

I LOVE YOU PAPA SANG SHIK, BUT CAN YOU PLEASE JUST SHARE STUFF LIKE TAKING CARE OF ANOTHER PERSON TO YOUR FAMILY,…
Tbf, Jin Sook is to blame as well, if she felt like something was up, she should have brought things up to her husband rather than keeping it all in. Also, doesn't hurt to consult with your husband to invite your first daughter's biological father to her wedding to avoid misunderstandings.
