I can forgive the amnesia plot because this drama doesn't seem to be taking itself too seriously from the looks of it. And as always Yoon Shi Yoon is just too damn funny so I can't resist this one :p

I'm only watching this because Kwak Dong Yeon is finally a male lead!! And his chemistry with Park Se Wan is just too good here. I really love how comfortable they are with each other on and off-stage. Can't wait to see how this drama turns out in terms of their dynamic

Title Time Spoiler
This drama doesn't deserve an overall low rating of 7.9, people need to understand that main lead character dying doesn't mean low score, this is tagged as tragedy for a reason. Seo Hyun did a wonderful job of portraying how her character grew up and matured with time as she began accepting the death of her loved ones. The first part of the drama was about Soo Ho accepting his impending death, whereas the second part became about Ji Hyun's acceptance. The plot wasn't the most thrilling and exciting after Soo Ho's death, sure, but the atmosphere and sentiment of the drama remained impeccable and beautiful throughout its full run.

I wish this one had a more serious tone to it...... what a waste of talented actors tbh. I don't like the sloppy and cringe-worthy writing so far

Title One Spring Night Spoiler
IMHO it cannot be labelled as cheating as it seems more complicated than that. It looks like she has fallen out…
Well, in the earlier episodes Jung In said that Gi Seok and her should take a break, but Gi Seok just won't leave her alone and keeps pushing her to marry him, making it sound like it's something that will eventually happen no matter what, everyone has kind of normalized the fact that they are in a long term relationship so eventually they HAVE to get married. Gi Seok keeps saying we "SHOULD" get married, there's no romance in the proposal, no sense of love, but something that they must do because that's what all long term relationships lead to. Also in ep10 she clearly asks to break up with him because she realizes that she doesn't love Gi Seok anymore. Also I don't think that what's going on between Jung In and Ji Ho is wrong because it's an unexpected kind of curiosity that they felt for each other because they were both at some kind of a standstill in life. There was no seduction, no cheating involved, right when Jung In felt like she wasn't emotionally with Gi Seok, she asked for some space, she told him that their relationship needs a break, and when she realized it can't be salvaged, she wanted to break up with him up front. I also think it took some time for her to break up with him because there's so much social pressure (her dad, friends, family, coworkers etc.) that she should get married to him, that their relationship is long term and stable and the right thing that she has been having a hard time when her emotions have clearly changed.

My guess is the chairman used his sperm to produce children for his organ trafficking. This way, nobody would…
So, correct me if I'm wrong, the numbered children are the product of artificial insemination from sperms of rich donors done on the "foster mother" who was killed earlier in one of the episodes, while the ones who had names were actually abandoned kids?

I feel like I am watching a different show from most people here, because I, for one, am totally HOOKED into it. For kdrama standards, this is a breath of fresh air, Hyun Jin is a smart, mature and capable lead. I am sick of female leads in assassin or action dramas coming off as flighty, dramatic or unusually strong physically to prove some lousy writing in "female power", insane characters running around in gowns (yes, I'm talking about you, Healer). Soo Hyun's ninja powers isn't unusual to me either, he's a damn assassin for God's sake, he is supposed to KILL PEOPLE BRUTALLY in a fast and efficient way without getting caught. The chemistry between Soo Hyun and Hyun Jin is also completely new for this kind of drama, and even though people complain it's not enough romance, I am a sucker for this type of subtle eye-f*ck stuff, they're always just longingly looking at each other, noticing each other's little actions, there's just a LOT of stuff that's unsaid which doesn't invalidate the emotions between the characters because both the actors are doing such an awesome job, their chemistry is natural and off-the-charts. I wished it was longer and I WANT MORE INTERACTIONS between them and I am sad I have to say goodbye next week to these wonderful complex people and story, it just sucks that there aren't more episodes to see their chemistry and dynamic develop some more. That's my only gripe.

I will be so disappointed if Seo Jun ends up dying. I know the tag for this drama has 'incurable disease' but it's a kdrama for god's sake, anything is possible

I was also confused about Do Hyun Jin's pic. I thought she was his next target and I was like - but why would…
I don't think she was ordered to be assassinated, but more like a person of interest from his past which is why he put it up. i think it was one of the pics that the person ordering the assassinations sent him along with the pic of his family and the picture of the old house he lived in. its probably going to be revealed that they used to be childhood friends in the orphanage lol

I'm confused with some of the comments below saying this drama is overrated. If anything, it's underrated, so…
Yeah, if anything, a lot of people don't seem to enjoy the episodes or have very different expectations of how it should be. Personally, I think it's great, they're ACTUALLY talking to each other like a normal relationship usually develops. Also I totally see the two leads falling in love because DHJ loves KSH's calm stoic nature while being caring towards animals while KSH loves that she is actually competent, while also being caring towards people.

I wish I can like your post a hundred times! I agree with all of your points. I love that the leads are on equal…
I totally agree with you! We have seen male leads overstep their boundaries too many times in kdramas and I don't understand why there are these double standards for women. I live for DHJ calling out people on their bs. I absolutely loved her when she rejected the prosecutor as she is not obliged to go out with any guy who asks her out, and she even did it as politely and matter-of-fact way as she could too. Stoic characters are totally my thing, and what's different about KSH is that he's more kuudere than tsundere type of male lead, idk for some reason I prefer guys who are just calm-natured in general paired up with female leads who communicate and have a low key relationship. And yeah, KSH's morality is also very complex but understandable, I think he makes for a very interesting "protagonist" I'm sick of righteous male leads haha

It turns out the MC is just your average guy.
Respectfully disagree. I think he's actually a breath of fresh air among male leads because he's pretty ruthless in the way he commits his murders. The first murder that we know he committed he used cadecholin which he used in high dosage, practically killing his victim with the most brutal pain imaginable. His second murder was also very ruthless, and the medical examiner was practically gushing about the skillfulness and the merciless way he killed Karimov. Yeah, we know he has a soft spot for animals and innocent children but that effectively makes his morality more complex. He seeks forgiveness for his crimes, but he certainly doesn't go lenient on people, not to mention, it seems that he is selective about the people who he thinks he should spare. He's not a killer machine, but a human killer with a nuanced morality.

I couldn't agree more, Jang Ki Yong character was raised by a russian man so it would be normal to have a bad…
from what i could gather, seemed like pavel always spoke to him in broken english (like when he was training ml in the woods), also even though he grew up in russia, it still wouldn't be weird if he had broken russian since i am assuming he didn't have a lot of contact with people due to the nature of his dangerous work

Yeah, the mood of the first half of episode 1 was very different from the rest, but I'm glad it changed, I like the color palette and dark atmosphere after Pavel died lol. As for JKY's perfect Korean, I am assuming he was already fluent when Pavel found him because the first scene he was talking to Pavel in fluent Korean and I'm guessing that was the age when he was taken in.
