OMG THATS SO INTERESTING. This drama is truly something else. Haha

You nailed it. *sobs at the beauty of their love* because both waited 8 whole years to be together despite everyone saying shit like how illegal and impossible it is. They say love can move mountains and our lovely OTP is something akin to that (metaphorically haha)

The male lead hasnt been diagnosed with any incurable disease as of yet. Its a very fun drama so far without anything too melodramatic going on. But then again we are only 20 episodes in and we have a long way to go. I would recommend you watch it because the characters are just fun to watch as they interact. And worst case scenario if the male lead does end up dying we can root for the female lead to take over the company and screw over all the annoying evil characters as a proper ending :)

I am definitely going to come back once in a while because damnit I am not ready to let go of this drama from my heart like ever

Yeah, I really wanted a scene of Akira's mom apologizing to Hijiri about blaming her family troubles on her. Yeah, Hijiri made a mistake of kissing her son when he was still 15, but she clearly apologized and even had to quit her job and leave. A relationship between an 18-year old and 28-year old is totally fine, 18 year old is an adult, and it's not absurd for college guys to date older women, so I was expecting Akira and Hijiri to be in a relationship while also going through self-growth. I don't understand why they can't be together while also growing. I DON'T like unnecessary time skips at all. The first time made sense, and we got to see both the characters and how they have changed over three years, so I thought it was perfect. But the second time skip was literally a time travel into the future, and you could tell that the writers didn't have enough source material (manga is still on-going) to give them a proper ending. Many people balance work/student/love life and it is very common, so I am a bit disappointed that the writers decided to separate them again, hinting that Hijiri and Akira need to be separated in order for Akira to finish school and Hijiri to find stable work life. Also, seriously, that mom needs to be brought to reason, why is she so stubborn?? I'm glad she made up with her son, but I don't think she did right by Akira in the end. She should have withdrawn that legal separation she filed for.

I didn't like Fukushi Sota's acting in Aishite tatte, himitsu wa aru AT ALL, but he totally immerses himself in his character as Tsutsumi here, it was really surprising lol because everyone keeps saying how bad of an actor he is

I think she just made an assumption and wanted to test Hijiri's reaction to what was said. Haraguchi is very intuitive and since the beginning she thought that even though Hijiri seems "ordinary" she has a lot of passion inside her so even though she doesnt seem like the type, she can do pretty rebellious things :D I think Haraguchi already noticed that Hijiri didn't seem as "delighted" as someone who is about to get married.

Wait so it's kidnapping not seducing a minor?!?!? I really thought it was the latter... hmm if it is kidnapping then dropping charges should just be fine, but if it has to do with something like seducing a minor idk how they will go around it. Also, I am very worried about Sensei's future as a teacher. I really REALLY want her to keep teaching and it will break my heart if she can't do that anymore

Also the reason why they had a divorce in the first place was because he was cheating on his wife?? So I don't understand why he wants her back. He already had his chance with her and screwed it up.

The ending of the episodes always surprise me haha it's great

29 and 33 is hardly any age difference and they're both consenting adults lol. If the genders were switched it would be completely normal

Yeah I wouldn't even mind them having some kind of a long distance relationship until Akira graduates uni and Hijiri has a stable teaching career. Akira can still graduate/go to work force in his twenties and marry Hijiri in her thirties, that sounds extremely realistic as a possible ending imo

It's honestly disconcerting that parents in Korean society have so much control over the lives of their children even at such an old age. For God's sake, these people are 30+ years old, and not to mention DIVORCED. It's ridiculous on so many levels. On top of that, what right do reporters have meddling into the personal lives of people? Business and personal matters are separate, and this is something I dislike about society. Let the woman do whatever she wants for her happiness, why does she have to answer questions from stupid reporters, and more importantly, how the hell is her hard work that brought Donghwa Hotel to such a huge success completely disregarded? Who the hell cares who Cha Soo Hyun is dating as long as she can get shit done and bring revenue for her company lol. Ugh, all of this seriously pisses me off, but I guess that's Korean society for you.

Just finished this and holy CRAP that last scene did me a total confuzzle haha. I am still sure sensei isnt yoshimoto kouya because he had the conversation with kouya's mom about how she created the monster that is kouya and it was a real scene. Same with the scenes earlier when he has a breakdown and thinks about shouta in his head telling him that being lenient won't solve bullying. I definitely think sensei was part of the bullying of the kid tho and I keep thinking of the scene where kouya's mom warns shinichi that sensei is a monster, also that he was an accomplice to kouya or something. So I DONT KNOW. I think part of the story Sara mentioned was definitely twisted though, some things just don't sit well with me :P either way I will be thinking about this drama for a looooong time to come and its one of the best in the genre.
