This was the best chemistry between leads ever. It even felt as if they based their performance on the book rather than the script. Bai Yu was amazing. Jiang Ocean was exceptionally good. and Zhu Yilong: My God, i've never seen a Chinese actor nail one role like he nailed three. i should check out his other dramas. He was so good in this it's just easier for me right now to believe he simply got lucky ^^'
What a refreshing drama! i was giving up on supernatural tag in dramas after watching so many boring-yet-popular ones. It would've been a 10/10 for me if the ending wasn't so weird. i hope there will be a season 2. btw, why do they keep giving Jin Se Yeon roles? feels like she can move almost no muscle on her face. Kim Kang Woo's performance was top level. Joo Ji Hoon nailed it tho. straight to my faves.

She got serious trust issues, she was ashamed of her financial status, she doubts her own teaching abilities, she even doubts she can be loved for her own self. considering all this, how easy to manipulate she is, and the fact that her very life goal was suggested by a man she hated, she doesn't even strike me as strong. at all. you wish to respect women as individuals yet you keep measuring Soo Jung and Min Ji by Bok Soo. as if a female's choices can't even be debated without involving a male. you can't validate someone's wrongdoings by "he did wrong too". what's wrong is wrong.

I feel like the real revenge is going to be against the school and it's system rather than Se Ho/Soo Jung.
