is it heavy in politics? Lots of people recommend it after the kunning palace, but KP had too many political aspects…
it's pretty balanced! i would say there are 2 major plot points where the ~politics~ is important but it's not too hard to digest
1: the FL's family arc, where she seeks justice for her dad who's a magistrate so she has to unravel a corruption scheme
2: the ML is the emperor's right-hand man so politics is kind of his job BUT the rebellion plot is overarching/interspersed throughout the drama so it doesn't get overwhelming!
on episode 4. ummmm all the FL does is cry. when can I expect this to get better? trying to give this a fair shot…
in a bit she'll start to find her footing and strengthen herself on her revenge journey! honestly reasonable she would be crying given how her entire life has been destabilised after being murdered(!) by the love of her life. give her some time ^^;;;

yeah, dubbing's the norm especially for historical dramas considering how noisy it is on set. and i think higher-pitched voices are preferred for FLs? but i do love WJY's original voice... in her last live she said she'll dub herself in Kill Me Love Me so i'm looking forward to that 👀✨

oh gosh yes it's very interesting to look into how the creative team had been super intentional about their outfit colours! i think in that scene especially, the colours were a good indication of the character relationships 👀 to me XFF dressed in XH's black just reinforces that she's comfortable with him + she's consciously choosing to be with him
