IKR! I know it's flawed but it's not as bad as the ratings are representing it to be. I'm really enjoying this drama. The characters have far more depth than the manga imo. And the lines they deliver here are just so heartfelt. There are people who hate it, don't like it, well different strokes for different folks, I guess. But to me, I don't regret coming across this drama at all.
I can't control the feels!!!! is this really 40 eps? so "10" more full eps are left right? things seem to have…

When Young Goo asked Nam Bo Won what will happen to him if Da Da falls for someone else. That scene was just too heartbreaking. And when Young Goo looked back to all the moments when he felt Da Da didn't want him and Ma Wang Joon taunting him, my poor Young Goo. :((((
I didn't expect Da Da to reject Ma Wang Joon, but wow, loved how she stood up for herself and held her ground.
Now it's Da Da's turn to finally run after Zero Nine. Next episode looks super fun!
I think Young Goo bringing Dada to the beach is just his dream or something. That was such a sudden change of scene, and where would he even get a car. Plus he literally told her hours ago that it's fine even if she doesn't love her back. I think Young Goo has started to feel jealousy and is imagining himself asking Dada for love in return.
That Happy Prince book. I will cover my ears and ignore all this grim foreshadowing for now. My poor baby Young Goo, this precious little puppy who gets surprised that a kitten knows his name, I'M DONE FOR.
As someone of Chinese ethnicity, I feel like I should be somewhat more insulted by the jjajangmyeon guy, but I…
The Jjajjangmyeon master sounds like he's having a Cantonese accent when speaking Korean but his sentences are mixed up with Mandarin instead, lmao.
I'm with you. He doesn't seem like a terrible guy, but tbh, the way he went about not telling Dada a single thing is just messed up. He wanted to break up with Dada because he's "concerned" about the hater sending the flowers, and as if not telling Dada, the girl supposedly in danger, isn't enough, he comes in running after Dada when he's yet to fix said issue. He named her a stalker and has taken her for granted. He hasn't even apologized to her. People are rooting for him because he's human and has a 7 year relationship with Dada. But dude still has a lot of things to fix before he's worth rooting for imo.
I want Diana to finally meet Young Goo. I don't think she will harm him because there's got to be something in Young Goo that will remind her of the boy from her past.
Seems like a lot of people aren't enjoying this, and while I can certainly see where the criticism is coming from,…
And I'm so gonna get an eye roll for this but I don't find an issue with YJG and Minah's acting. Like this scene for instance: https://twitter.com/cidercora/status/1134504379820593152?s=19 When Dada tells 09 not to like her anymore, 09 is barely using any facial expression and yet I could still feel the hurt in his eyes. YJG is portraying 09 as a sunshine-happy kind of robot but dependable and caring just like how I remember Night from the manga.

100% my sentiments. I actually like all the changes the writer has made to the story so far. Prior to the drama airing, I was expecting myself to actually hate the story. But I was pleasantly surprised to see myself enjoying it.
You're right, it looks like Dada is beginning to treat 09 more as a human now as she's looking for the normal…
I absolutely agree. The writer has created a pretty good set-up for the story. Now all that's left to see is how well this would hold up for the rest of the remaining episodes. It was when Diana herself visited Kronos Heaven herself to check on 09. Diana was about to open the box, but they distracted her by saying that they used the photo of the boy Diana sent to them as the basis for 09's face if that boy became an adult. Also back in the car, when Diana was looking at 09's image, she wondered to herself saying, "I guess this is what Ken would look like now."
I guess Dada really treats 09 as a human being now that she has warmed up to him. That's why she gets frustrated…
You're right, it looks like Dada is beginning to treat 09 more as a human now as she's looking for the normal reactions from 09. It's human nature to feel different kinds of emotions including anger and disappointment, but so far, 09's exhibiting none of these to Dada. All 09's showing her is what the "perfect" boyfriend is, but being in a relationship involves not just love but also compromise. I think that's something that 09 will eventually learn as he evolves. He's already showing signs of sadness, disappointment when he's by himself, but he's just not showing it to Dada. Nam Bo Won wanted 09 to learn that love isn't just about giving but also receiving. Me too. Diana is an unpopular character here, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of her. Especially now that we learn that Kronos used someone from Diana's past as 09's face. And personally, I like that this adaptation has given characters deeper motivations for the characters. Dada is no longer a young woman desperate for a boyfriend, but someone wounded from a past relationship. MWJ, is no longer a childhood friend who chose to be silent the whole time. 09 doesn't end up with a random lady who kisses him during a part time job, instead he will eventually end up with an emotionally dysfunctional lady who ordered for him with the specifications of having the face of someone from her past.
But I can already smell the tragic ending from miles away. T_T

Sorry for the long essay. XD
