This drama is indeed more on the cheesy side, but the chemistry is working fine for me. I suggest you just go for it. Personally, 1st episode was alright then gets better in the 2nd ep. Some people like it, some don't. You can also take a look at the non-spoiler comments and see if it's worth the watch or not.

Young Goo + amusement park = EVERYTHING

There are people who are not familiar with the source material/ the other adaptations and they couldn't accept the premise of the story. We already know the story beforehand so we are aware of what we're getting into, I guess.

There's also the issue of the inconsistent directing and how obviously low-budget this drama is. I feel like when we are away from the leads, the direction starts to look cheap. I guess a B Team is in-charge of filming the minor characters? I mean once we're with Younggoo and Dada, everything looks beautiful. That rain scene at the end looks so effing gorgeous. I've lost count of how many times I've replayed that scene.

As for me, I'm enjoying this drama as it is. It's so much better than what I expected it to be. Production value aside, I like where the story is going so far. Time flies by when I'm watching it. However, lesser Alpha Go scenes wouldn't hurt. LOL

OT: In the midst of it all, in Nam Bowon's organizer... there was also a blind date scheduled in it. Hahaha

I agree. I just hope the writer doesn't make it too frustrating. The writer has been doing a good job so far though, so I'm still feeling hopeful and optimistic.

I hope you're not right... but you actually might be. I kinda remember this plot line in the original story. The female lead had a friend who'd been backstabbing her.

Now that Dada has asked Younggoo not to shut down, I feel like this is the part of the story where Dada will now go back and forth between MWJ and Younggoo. And it's the part that I really didn't like in the manga. How the FL becomes too indecisive and selfish, not letting go of either the human or the robot. But at least in this adaptation, she has a 7 year history with MWJ so she has more reason to feel more conflicted. But since she explicitly asked Younggoo not to shut down, she should also shoulder the responsibility of taking care of my good boy Younggoo and not hurt that poor pupper. He's just a robot but to see him treasuring that A++ sticker, wow, my heart.

To MWJ, I mean, dude, I get where you're coming from. But how hard is it to properly communicate to your girlfriend that there's an anti or a sasaeng threatening you both? With creepy threats like that, Dada deserves to know ffs. Not telling her doesn't help anyone and it doesn't make you a hero for trying to "protect" her by making her clueless about this whole thing. Not to mention naming her a stalker and being unappreciative of her.

Awww Younggoo's face when he realized he was getting rejected. :(( He was such a poor puppy in that scene.

Yeo Jin Goo is breathtakingly handsome. No wonder Dada couldn't resist him at the end lmao. I feel you, girl.

I'm #Team09 too, but it's probably the YJG bias in me that's speaking so I don't know if my vote counts LOL. He's so precious I want to give him all the A++ stickers in the world.

I have a feeling it will follow the original ending. :( They have changed a lot in the story, but I think they will still follow the essential parts of the manga.

It's so adorable when Younggoo wanted those A++ meat stickers hahaha! And it looks like he's getting it next episode. He's so pure.

This drama continues to be heart-warming and fun. I just found myself smiling the entire time. I love how Younggoo immediately stops when Dada tells him to. That was something I really liked in the manga, the robot knowing and respecting what consent is.

So now, we see that there should be more to it when MWJ wanted to break up with Dada. Looks like a crazy fan found out about their relationship. I'm still not a fan of how he decided to sleep on her after she cooked that pasta for him. Not even a bite? Come on. And on top of that, Dada is a makeup artist who has to be present the whole time at the set as well, although their schedules could be different. But still, what he did wasn't cool.

Aww, so the 7-week trial ends in the next episode? Hope Younggoo stays safe, and Nam Bowon too. My heart tightens with how NBW is willing to do everything for Younggoo's sake.

Yeah, IKR! I spotted all those too! When her friend talked about Dada breaking every machine she touches I was like, "Oh no, Younggoo..." And when 09 said, she wouldn't have to worry because he'll never die and will be with her forever. Well yeah, we do know that that line will definitely not age well at all.

I haven't seen the other adaptations of this story but having read that manga, I'm actually looking forward to 09 getting kissed by someone else. It would be interesting to see Dada totally not wanting him, to desperately trying to get him back.

I also like the changes they have made in this adaptation so far. One thing I disliked about the manga was the female lead, but this time she is given more depth as a character which I'm very thankful for.

Whatever change they make in this adaptation, deep down we all know how it's gonna end. XD
