I hope Zuer is able to make a comeback as soon as possible. She’s a talented actress and a classic beauty, probably the top among the 95 flowers in these terms.
Why do people who clearly dislike noona romances always seem to be the first in line to watch them? If it makes you that uncomfortable, why even bother? Make it make sense.
What a pleasant surprise! I’m absolutely loving this show.
I had actually forgotten this drama was a thing until Prime reminded me of it. I immediately thought, well, a romcom starring Shin Min-ah could never be truly bad (as in she's probably one of the most charming actresses around). But, yes, my expectations weren't particularly high. However, as you cam probably tell by now, this drama sweeped me off my feet.
It's light and fun, but never shallow or superficial (I hope this makes sense). The characters are easy to root for, and our main couple feels right and natural together. The actors are also doing a superb job — Shin Min-ah is great as always, Kim Young-dae is a nice surprise (I'm not familiar with his work), and the supporting cast is fantastic. I especially enjoy Lee Il-hwa's raunchy novel-loving rich woman and the relationship between Hae-yeong and her foster sisters.
And, of course, the #1 most important aspect... it makes you feel damn good! No Gain, No Love makes you smile and laugh like an idiot and that's what all great romantic comedies should be able to do. Thumbs up!
This was great! Well-balanced mix of comedy and mystery with a solid cast and production team. Such a breath of fresh air amidst so many similar dramas.
The rating here is way too low, but that's MDL for you.
I love this casting choice. I know there are other actors that might strike viewers as more "vampire-like" than Suzy, but that's precisely why I love it.
I think the appeal of Sweet Home lies in its rarity as a survival and apocalyptic drama. There simply aren't many of those. It's a fascinating genre, not just for its worldbuilding and monsters and whatever else, but for how it portrays human resilience in the face of disaster. We want to cheer for the characters and feel invested in their struggles. Personally, that's where I felt Sweet Home fell short. And I mean it quite literally. I wish the episodes were longer, or that the drama had two or three extra chapters. This makes me specially frustrated as I really liked the Green Home residents and wanted to see more of them.
Despite the potential (and there was a lot of it! Make no mistake, this was a very good production with a mostly competent cast), it left me questioning if it could have been more... heartfelt? It was entertaining nonetheless, even if it occasionally felt contrived, but it didn't quite match the impact of some other shows in the same genre.
She’s extremely talented, sensible, funny, and kind (with a million-dollar smile). She’s still very young, but I’d say it’s a safe bet to predict that her career will be a long and successful one ☺️ Cheers for Hye-yoon!
I'm so sad that Koi Nido is ending next week. Not only is it an objectively well-made, well-produced drama, but it also resonated with me somehow. Hoping for a happy ending!
What a stacked cast! + It's admirable how Park Eun-bin continues to expand her range, truly one of the top young actresses working currently. She's always been talented and great at choosing scripts, but I'm glad Attorney Woo turned her into such a big name as well.

Now onto the second season :)
