It's actually getting a good tv ratings in South Korea. Last two episodes had 8%+ tv ratings which is good for…
Glad to hear it! Very deserving. And yeah, some ratings here on MDL are a bit… hard to understand 🥲 I guess it all comes down to favoritism and personal taste.
It's so strange how this can be both heartbreaking and heartwarming, all at once. Makes you feel empty and full at the same time. I believe that everyone who enjoys the slice of life genre and loved My Liberation Notes was deeply affected by it.
Rating should be 9+, we are heading into the final 2 weeks and it has been consistently good, which is a huge feat. (I mean, how many dramas start out strong and then get progressively worse once you reach the second half? Too many to count.)
Even some of my non-drama watching friends are captivated lol The whole psychometric-butt-touching-veterinary premise lured them in due to the absurdity of the situation, but the mystery and the characters that have kept them hooked. You can always trust Director Kim Seok-yoon, Han Ji-min and Lee Min-ki to deliver.
idk why y'all are so big on romance. like some dramas just don't have it as the main plot or subplot and it's…
Yeah, and I'd even add that a lot of the drama's charm resides in the whole chapstick comedy relationship between Ye-bun and Detective Moon. Their rapport is 10/10. Also, romance comes in a lot of different forms, not just melodrama or wide-eyed giggling, etc. They care about each other deeply, and it shows.
It’s so nice to watch characters find happiness and purpose in their professional pursuits, like Hae-ryung managed to in her job as a historian. Just a thought 🥲
The three main actors are all good at playing unnerving if not psychopathic characters. They're so good at it I find myself side-eyeing and getting suspicious of them in every role lol I think I'm gonna watch it because this trio intrigues me.
For some reason it took me AGES to get it going with Mr. Queen but now that I have completed it I find myself wanting more. It was a top notch drama, a very unique one at that, and never boring. Shin Hye-sun delivered an acting masterclass and Kim Jung-hyun was also a revelation. I loved the supporting characters, especially the Royal Cook.
The happy ending was bittersweet, or at least I felt so. Highly recommend it.
I totally thought Sa-hui was played by Park Gyu-young even if I did notice there was something a bit odd about her face compared to other dramas 😭 Turns out it’s actually Park Ji-hyun.
I was sick back in 2020, and this show helped me through it. I was grief-stricken and B&B warmed my heart in a way I didn’t imagine a reality show could. I don't think I'd freak out upon meeting any celebrity, but I'd certainly want to at least thank Lee Hyori for this show (and maybe getting a a photo with her or something 🥹). I'm rewatching some episodes and wanted to record these thoughts somewhere ❤️
