I hope season 2 delves deeper into Kasuga's character, or that we get to see her point of view more often. I thought this was a very good watch (like a warm cup of coffee), but that was the one qualm I had. The flashback we got to see of young Kasuga was a great moment and made me understand her better, and I want more of that.
For sure I think Eun sook can write a worthy side character, but I think what people are referring to is that this…
After reading your comment, I get the worry. I expressed my thoughts with the idea that her character would hold a significance comparable to, for instance, Lee Dong-wook's Grim Reaper in Goblin or even a villain like Lim Ji-yeon's Park Yeon-jin in The Glory. I would argue that in those dramas, their characters were as crucial as the so-called 'leads.' If Ahn Eun-jin does indeed accept this role, I hope it's one as memorable as theirs. She's a great actress emerging from a career-changing project, and she should carefully consider her offers.
You guys should know by now that Kim Eun-sook is a writer who values her 'side' characters as much as her main ones. Come on, guys! I mean, look at Goblin, Mr. Sunshine, The Glory—need I say more? I have no doubt that a super talented (and super buzzy!) actress like Ahn Eun-jin will play a character worthy of her.
I love Bai Lu, and I really like Dylan, but this drama is making me SO frustrated. Couldn't Shuyi and Shi Yan simply... talk it out for once? The plot is just bad. Well, I hope someone makes a Yu You x Shiyue supercut after it's done and finished because I'm out.
I haven't watched Vice Versa, so this is my first exposure to Jimmy and Sea, and I must say, I'm impressed. The way they are able to convey Mhok and Day's emotions through their gaze is remarkable. Can’t wait to witness their growth as individuals and as a couple (eventually). Anyways, Last Twilight is superb so far. The storyline feels refreshingly original in a genre often saturated with clichés, and the show strikes the right balance in tone—neither excessively sad nor overly comedic, just perfect. I guess what I am trying to say is… WATCH IT without fear! It’s worth it.
Expectations are high. I'm gonna be sad if it turns out to be an underwhelming watch. The cast is good, the production value is amazing and the plot seems interesting. Fingers crossed.
I'm thinking of watching this one. Is it good so far? I'm not asking if it's a groundbreaking drama or anything, but just if the chemistry is there and if it's cute, you know? Thanks in advance!
Solid watch, but I thought the first half was better than the second. The whole murder mystery plot was not nearly as engaging as it is in Behind Your Touch, for example. Crash Course was at its best when it focused on Haeng-seon and Chi-yeol’s romance and the entrance exams pressure aspect of the plot.
Oh, and top notch cast and production! This was extremely well-made. Kudos.
Suzy looks sooo pretty and Doona seems like such an infuriatingly charming character (I hope that makes sense). Also her hairstyle makes me want to get a hime cut 🥲
I'm hoping for the best!
