There's this amazing matcha ice cream in a waffle layer that I got at an Asian market once. It became my favorite ice cream snack ever, but the market stopped carrying the product and I haven't found it anywhere else!
I'm about half way through and I actually love this show so far. My only issue is that she has SO many very intense issues going on- like eating disorders, a stifling and terrifying home life, and a lot of loneliness. So, I don't know why everyone (viewers and other characters alike)focuses on the fact that she's spoiled. And maybe the reason she's pretty uncaring at the beginning is that it's not like anyone cares a whole lot about her, after all her dad is using her and her mom is just making her body image issues worse.
City Hunter- rooftop kiss scene!
Nice Guy- Confession in the rain
The Moon that Embraces the Sun- when he finds out that it was her the whole time and he breaks down in tears
I don't like the fact that they change it into a reality tv show :\
Yeah at first, I was like, how? But then I realized that most of the games were contained in a darkish room with presenting ladies and fancy props…
But I agree that I loved the dark, ominous, shady clown feel of the original and not necessarily this one's bright lights and cameras. However, I will watch with anticipation! (Even if ain't nobody gonna replace Matsuda Shota as my Akiyama)
Ooo… curious about Confessions and OASIS, even though they aren't my usual cup of tea. I've seen high school debut, and it was adorable. I love when Japan does romcoms, because they hardly ever go there anymore, BUT THEY DO IT SOOOO WELL
I'll definitely watch this-but I have to say I'm wary. I'm usually fine with other countries making remakes, but this show is so great and special and Matsuda's Akiyama BLEW MY MIND. I always want more people to see this, so I reaaaaally hope this doesn't give Koreans a wrong idea of the Liar Game.
Oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness.
The Liar Game was one of my firsts and blew my mind and STILL blows my mind and Akiyama was awesome and pretty rub-it-in-your-face WHICH I LOVED and PLEASE DON'T MESS IT UP.
But seriously. After a two seasons and like three movies- CAN AKIYAMA AND NAO PLEASE GET TOGETHER.I knoooow the mangaka's intention but… come on the sexual tension is practically stifling
In episode 8 So Nyeo said she and Soo Kwang used to be dating… which means he was dating a minor? But then when he found out she had been talking about his illness with her bf it kind of broke my heart...
I was surprised by how many of these I've seen! Haha, been in drama land for too long (is there really a too long though? I think not…)
I'm smiling now thinking about them! In fact, I think I'm going to rewatch Always… The ending scene was basically one of the sweetest things I've ever seen ever so,,,
This was my first ever Japanese movie, and I watched it on a 14 hour plane ride from China to the US, after going about 18 hours without sleep. It more or less blew my mind and I didn't really GET it, but it was awesome. So, when I got home, I watched the two dramas, adored them, and the rest is jdorama history… Anywho, I still wish Akiyama and Nao had gotten a real relationship. I know in the manga he was apparently a decent bit older than her… but THE UNRESOLVED SEXUAL TENSION. GEEZ.
I wish it were't so difficult to watch lakorns with english subs online! I tried finding a lakorn on the last recommendation, got hooked on the first episode, and couldn't find consistent subs anywhere! Sigh...
Where can I watch Wong Wian Hua Jai with english subs? The mv made me really intrigued and I watched the first bit of the first episode on viki, but I can't find the rest anywhere, and I don't want to download it. Help please!
I totally want to see a Kdrama Kimi ni Todoke! Now, mostly because I need Lee Hyun Woo in it. I was going through your choices and most of them I wasn't even familiar with, and then I see Lee Hyun Woo.... YEEEESSSS! he would play the Kazehaya out of that role!
This is why they need to consider filming the whole drama before it airs. I really don't like how they film while…
Some dramas have tried that, but every time the drama was a GIANT FAILURE. Terrible ratings and everything. Maybe it was just because the actors and the script stunk, but it kind of discouraged all other producers from considering pre-production. Plus, writers often read online comments or the feelings of fans, and lets that influence their next episode, sometimes even changing who gets the girl for fanservice!
