I love ZWY's comedic expressions 😂

the plot of each episode feels really fast. Suddenly, it's already at this scene, and then suddenly it's at another scene when it comes to solving the cases.
and as for the editing in some scenes, i feel like the transitions are a bit abrupt and don't fit well as an ending for the scenes.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

1. The ML hides his identity as the 7th prince because he was supposed to be killed at birth.
2. The ML didn't kill the FL. If you pay attention to the opening scene in episode 1, his expression was shocked, and the arrow was still in his hand. (And according to the novel readers here, the ML was indeed not the one who killed the FL.)
3. The FL falls in love again because she believes that in her first life, there must have been a misunderstanding between her and the ML. There is also a flashback scene from her first life where she was threatened—if she didn't write the letter to sever ties with the ML, he would be killed. So, she thinks there must have been a misunderstanding and unresolved issues.

Since i haven’t read the novel, this is just my assumption based on the latest episode.

yes IMO, Li Landy has an adorable kind of beauty, not the elegant and mature type like Su Miao. So, i think she still looks good with her simple hairstyle, outfit, and makeup.
Maybe the drama puts more emphasis on an elegant appearance (?) 🫢

Yes, in these early episodes, the relationship between TQ and SCC still just as colleagues.
In fact, TQ and SM seem closer—but well, you could say SCC too, since in the drama, SM = SCC
But as a viewer, i see them as two different people because they are played by different actors.
For now, i prefer the chemistry with the actor playing SM (I haven’t seen their work before).

As for Li Landi, i like her acting have no issues with it and she’s adorable. since i also enjoyed her performances in her previous drama.

Actually, i like it when voice actors dub over actors/artists, as long as i don’t know what the actor’s real voice sounds like. In that case, i’ll naturally get used to hearing the dubbed voice and assume it’s their real voice.

But if i already know their real voice, i won’t be able to enjoy the drama—unless i think the VA’s voice matches the character and the actor’s appearance. If that’s the case, then I can still enjoy it.

but for GHY, since i already know his real voice—and his silly voice is deeply ingrained in my mind🤣—when i first heard him speak in episode 1 OMG i immediately felt annoyed because the dubbed voice didn’t match at all! 🤣

but yeah maybe the production team decided to use a VA so that his voice would match his cool appearance, because GHY’s look usually gives off a cool and stylish guy vibe (as long as he’s not making comedic expressions)

Surprisingly, i like Su Miao, and her chemistry with Tang Qi is really good 😆

In these early episodes, Su Miao has more screentime and interactions with Tang Qi than with Su Chengcheng. Now i’m afraid i’ll get too used to seeing Su Miao with Tang Qi 🙃

Honestly, even up until episode 6, Tan Jianci and Li Landy chemistry hasn’t really shown yet, and i still can’t feel it. Instead, i actually like Tan Jianci’s chemistry with the actress playing Su Miao

I hope the misunderstandings and this weird face filter get resolved soon in the upcoming episodes. A story that starts with a lie like this is honestly hard for me to enjoy 🥲

But at the end, i’m watching this only for Tan Jianci ☺️😊
