Wanting TM or even NXY gone is so crazy. lol. NXY made the first arc more complex. With no TM, CP wouldn't have met ZM hahaha. And CP would have been a goner long ago. They clearly want a different and simpler story haha.

Interestingly, there are hasn't been any healthy onscreen sibling relationships in the drama. Even Feng Yao's little brother is gone.

I'm with you for this cause to defend TMS! LOL. All of the characters have done amazing things to protect one another. I don't really get the hyper focus on TM's role as an interloper into the OTP's relationship. Personally, CP/TM have the more complex relationship that's not romantic love.

That sibling angle is interesting. I do think the kinship between CP and TM are implied. Well, to me that's how I see them. I have only seen one healthy family relationship on the show and that's Jade Palace.

NXY's experience really didn't help TM understand healthy human relationships either lol.

Let's hope that your ending manifests! The only thing I see stopping them is Hao Tian. As TM (heaven), CP (earth), and ZM (demonic/abyss), the power of the trio has the three realms covered, right? They can threaten to stage a coup to renegotiate contract terms. #solidarity

I finally caught up. I loved NXY and adore Tian Ming. Mainly because of what their roles do for the story and the questions they ask. They're almost like anthropologists observing and trying to understand natives from a foreign culture lol. TM especially 🤣. I always did wonder why xianxia has so many love drunk immortals without hobbies. That TM and CP have no senses or emotions put their immortality into a different perspective. Can't blame CP for wanting more after getting a taste of earthly love and delights. Can't blame TM for wanting CP back either because she's literally his only 'family' in that bleak eternal existence. If only they both could live happily ever after with ZM.

I don't think it's earthly love though. Neither TM or NXY seemed to feel romantic love towards MXL. TM and CP have been companions for an unimaginable amount of years. They could be described as soulmates. That's the lingering connection between MXL and NXY too. Somebody needs to teach NXY and TM about platonic love/soulmates and how it can coexist with romantic love lol.

I'm watching this on Viki, which currently has 8 episodes. Before I start, can anyone tell me what episode FL leaves the Liu family/divorced? I can't bear to watch women's class/gender struggles with in-laws without knowing when it'll end 😬. I dislike these events so much that I'm committed to living a single cat lady with high income life in reality.
