Happy for them! I took a peak at the novel from the link you shared. What an interesting set up! It made me want to read. Wang Duo for sure fits the elegant, artsy scumbag husband LOL! I adore the WHOLE cast and can't wait for this to come out.

lolol. NXY cheerfully smiled quite a bit in the beginning. The smile got sadder and smaller over the course of the show and you can see it in his eyes. His last smile, where he also cried and sighed at his own foolishness, was the saddest. In contrast, TMS never smiled and didn't learn how to smile until his own ending.

accurate haha. can you imagine the trauma in this family? the saving grace is that it wasn't intergenerational trauma...TMS carried most of it alone 🤣.

I would love to see Gongzi and TMS or NXY showdown!!! That would be wild, unpredictable, and probably sexy 🤣. All of them are insane and calm. I don't know how Wang Duo manages to make these men vulnerable and understandable at the same time.

I'm torn because I love watching WD suffer 🤭. But yes why not give him anti-hero role with a fiery FL who can't wait to climb him like a tree.

I gotta admit that I'd have a tough time being mean to someone who took my punishment from the mightiest power in the three realms. And said punishment was 10,000 years of misery. And yet they still searched for me? I'm not a monster.

TMS is supreme level in self sacrificing. 1000% acts of service is his love language. All he wanted was to be reunited with his family 🫤. Even if you don't like him, you shouldn't hate him.

I was only gone for like a week and what has happened to the comment section lol. I had a lot of fun reading discussions prior to this. Well, no one can ruin my love for NXY and TMS lol. Folks can hate them all they want but even XXC and MXL could not bring themselves to irreparably harm NXY/TMS. Only he was successful at doing that...both times 🤣. What an incredibly complex character! I'm so glad we got to see so many different kinds of relationships on the show. It's odd to singularly focus on romantic love when ALL of the main and supporting characters themselves valued all the different kinds of relationships they had with one another. I would totally rewatch this show to process all the dialogue.

Ultimately, I loved NXY and TMS so much that Wang Duo is now one of my faves. I even went to watch Bloody Romance and I'm sure I'm not alone here! LOL. I previously looked down on it because of it's premise. I figured though, if I can enjoy WD as an ancient divine artifact, then I can watch him as an angst ridden prince who staycations in an assassin organization run by women. No regrets! My ruthless low-key crazy prince stole the show!

This is also where I'm headed! lol. Or the last arc in League of Nobleman. I loved I am Nobody and savoring S2.

I haven't watched it yet but this gives me great faith! I've yet to dislike any of Wang Duo's characters so it helps me to add another one 🤣.

Perhaps some ppl are just simpler? It's not a bad thing unless you're the family/friends being discarded lol. These folks most likely enforce the same boundaries in their own lives.

I saw some random backstage and Q&A stuff where the actresses for the FL/SML are both sympathetic and soft for NXY/TMS. It made me laugh because it's relatable but also maybe a person like NXY/TMS might actually be a popular bf choice irl 🤣. However, just because ppl are sympathetic it doesn't mean that we want FL to end up with TMS. This is one of those shows where I want everyone to have a happy ending of some form.

LOL. I'm with you. I'm low key annoyed that people don't get why but ppl value different things. Look, if my bestie was like, "i gotta get rid of that man because my sis will die because of him," then I'd help my bff plan that man's death. LMAO. I'm protective of my family. 10,000 years is a long ass time to be punished for protecting a family member. I feel pretty indignant on behalf of TMS when people fail to acknowledge the good he has done for CP and only see him as an interloper. Their argument would be much more credible to me if they said they didn't like TMS' actions because he should respect CP's choices.

TMS will always side with CP lol. I laughed when he turned his back on the Divine Clan and was like, "y'all had it coming" 🤣.

I also like MXL. She's my favorite after NXY/TMS. Her feelings and actions towards TMS are quite understandable. She doesn't want to be callous towards him as family but she's also decisive as he keeps encroaching upon her bottom line - XXC/ZM. If she were as simple as some ppl want her to be, I'd be disappointed.
