The show has done no work to convince me that Mew isn't still completely into Top, so he's using both Ray and Ray's ready access to alcohol (maybe drugs?) as a distraction. I think that generally though Mew has a good head on his shoulders and he'll go back to form, or close to form, sooner or later. I could be wrong about that but I don't think I am.

He's a selfish child who never learned to share his toys and his issues are only exacerbated by his addiction.
