Yeah my favorite is Sand so I'm always waiting for him to show up. But I had to give myself a reality check recently because I've also been waiting for the ex to make an appearance, but let's be real, if they do it won't be for Sand, it'll be to cause drama for Mew somehow. And while i like Mew he's not my favorite and I just don't care as much.

The thing is, it could have been that show. Jojo does not shy away from that kind of thing. It's just unfortunate because this is Mew's story.

Maybe another drama in the future. My hope is we get more stuff like this - stuff that feels more grounded in reality - or MLC, which was really a slice of life drama where everyone just happened to be gay. If that starts happening we can start exploring different kinds of storylines that aren't just who will end up with who.

And yeah Jojo tends to give his MCs a happy ending. So Mew is probably safe. So is whoever he winds up with if he winds up in a couple.

I don't want Boston to improve lol. I want him and Nick to wind up in a "they deserve each other" pair. :D I love Boston I can't help it and honestly, he's been *fine* with Nick. Some people don't do monogamy, that's fine. I think that if they can work out an open relationship they'd actually do well.

Actually I tend to agree with you. I feel like the MewRaySand love triangle is getting most of the focus and it's a little silly when both Sand and Ray have actual problems, lol. But you (and I) have to remember that they are 20 somethings so that *is* what they'd be focusing on. Just because the other stuff is more interesting to my mind doesn't mean that I'm gonna get it.

Especially when you consider that even though this is sort of an ensemble, Mew is still the main character.

I think Mew will get a good ending. Whether he's with Top or Ray or someone new or single, he's the only one I am sure will end up in a good place.

Everyone else? I made some predictions a while ago. I think we'll get a mix of happy and ambiguous, maybe one bad end. I want Nick and Boston to make it but I don't really have faith. Sand and Ray will not, but they might still be in touch if one of them isn't dead.

That's actually one of the ways that I think the ending might go! I don't know if they'd give him such a happy end though.

That or he offered him money to try to keep Ray as sober as he can / keep him out of trouble / convince him to go to rehab.

Take the money Sand. Take it! You're poor, you need it more than you need love. Be practical for once. And honestly it's about time Ray had to face up to the consequences of the shit he pulls. Everyone else has thus far, some of them immediately (hi, Sand!). He might be winning now, but the one thing that is reliable in this show is that no one wins for long.

They make perfect sense if you think he wants everything. Because he's selfish and greedy and he wants to date Mew and pour what little love he has into him but he also doesn't want Sand to stop taking care of him. Especially since Mew won't. It's simple if you think about it through the Ray is a selfish ass lens lol.

He doesn't want to be poly he wants to be Hugh Heffner lol. He can have multiple but everyone can only have him.

I think he cares about Mew as much as he is capable of caring about anyone. But I think it pretty much stops there lol.

You can't drag someone like Ray to therapy, They have to choose it. I hope something gives and that he does, but the fact that he seems to be just settling into being a complete dick makes me less hopeful than I was.

...well, admittedly I'm less concerned with that. I'd like him to learn to care more about other people, though.

Personally I think (hope) Mew's too smart to really ever fall for Ray, but yes, Sand is not going to get the happy romantic ending he wants. Of that I am sure.

Oh no unfortunately I'm the worst person to talk to about Ray and Sand as a couple lol.

But I'll be very surprised if Ray doesn't wind up drunk driving again and hurting Sand badly in the process (if not getting him killed). Very surprised.

Sand has been cockblocked so many times I feel like *I'm* the one who isn't getting any. Let Sand get some 2023!

I'm saving The Eclipse for when Ray finally pushes me into hating him lol. So next ep probably.

I want him to suffer terribly but I also want him to get over his addiction.

If someone dies, my money is on Sand. Too many conversations with Ray about how he's gonna get someone killed.

I am mostly a ghost shipper - I want Sand to hook up with everyone but especially Nick and Mew.

I meant Sand specifically, although he is doing things that can have long-term consequences too (selling illegal wine, ignoring his financial responsibilities to hang out with Ray which scares me because he has this Chekov's gun of debt collectors just hanging about and I haven't forgotten at all), but all the stuff that's really being focused on is the heartbreak. Which if we're only talking about that, is fine. He'll be fine. It hurts now but in a year it probably won't.

Lol yeah I find it hard to feel sorry for Sand when he's doing this to himself.

But also well, so long as he doesn't get in a car with Ray or do something too law breaking because of him I think he'll be fine. Heartbroken and a little wiser, but in a year or so he'll probably just look back on this experience going "wow I was stupid."
