Ah okay I get you. Sometimes it's not that deep, you just like who you like. Sometimes it's because the character is wearing First Kanaphan's face and you imprint on his pretty smile before you realize what a horrible doormat he's going to be (uh, totally not speaking from any personal experience here nosir). It could also just be that you find some things certain characters have done more or less palatable than others.

Can also be the way the show is framing things - like I for one think that we have so many SandRay shippers because the show did a great job of framing them in a romantic way. Now it's taking that apart and people are struggling. I don't blame them; it's hard. The show also framed Nick as a poor baby even though he was out there bugging people's cars and sharing the audio like it was normal, meanwhile Boston who took some pictures was framed as the very devil. Both violated privacy, both shared their violation with others, but one was deliberately glossed over while the other was not.

I don't know if the show is going to do anything with this or if we're just supposed to follow along, but it's interesting to think about.

I get what you're saying but no one has to like every character or appreciate them equally. So long as we can all be civil with each other (and so far everyone has been as far as I've seen) I think it's fine to have favorites (Sand! Sand! Sand! I support his wrongs even the really really dumb ones).

No, you're right. But I'll keep banging the drum that the way he acts in the preview is bullshit. He doesn't have to want Sand but he clearly doesn't want to let him go find someone who does. It's nasty.

Sand knows too, though. He knows and he just keeps on. To be fair though I'm much madder at Ray for the preview than I was for this ep. I mean whatever we all knew he was trying to get in Mew's pants. If people haven't figured out by now that Boston finds the nastiest bits of people and drags them to the light then I can't help them. Boston knew, Ray knew, I knew. Sand probably had an inkling even. Ray was always gonna do this.

What pisses me off is the preview. Just let the guy move on ffs. If he wants to do that by fucking a cosplaying Freddie Mercury while also cosplaying as Freddie Mercury, more power to him. It's the spoiled child reaction to Sand maybe not focusing on Ray that is working my last nerve. Ray doesn't want him but he doesn't want anyone else to have him either and that's just cruel.

Probably until he breaks something that can't be fixed. Or someone.

No the tattoo scene was supposed to be in Sand's birthday ep. It got cut but then I think they added it back in later? Or Jojo said they were going to add it back in.

We have the bathtub scene and the fight where Ray punches the lockers and Sand winds up screaming like he's having war flashbacks to Alan from MLC. Also throwing his plum wine around like he can afford it dude stop breaking all your shit you are poor.

Louder for the people in the back. Ray is an asshole but Sand's the one who keeps letting him back in. This SHOULD be the last straw but we know it won't be since we still have more "sweet" moments in the trailer to get through. Well, one. That's Sand's fault as much as it is Ray's, sorry.

I dunno if he's using Ray to get at Top specifically but yeah, he's definitely using him. And agreed, Mew is acting like he is because he's still hung up on Top, you don't act that way if you're totally over something. He and Sand should sit down and discuss it, Sand knows the signs.

If I liked Ray more I might feel bad for him but eh, whatever. This is the bed he made he can lie in it with Mew for a while until Mew finds another bed to lie in if you know what I mean and I think you do.

I don't think they will. I think that one or both of them might end up worse or better than they started. But I wish they had rushed this a bit more since if there's no S2 they're really pushing my belief in any growing Ray may or may not do. Sand too, sort of. I think his issues are less severe on the whole but who knows.

I can see it going one of two ways:

1. He takes Top back and it either implodes or doesn't
2. He decides to stick with Ray

I just don't think he and Ray would make a good couple on top of the fact that Mew really doesn't seem to want him even though he said he'd go for it? But maybe I'm reading that through my dislike. Also he's still hung up on Top.

I don't know if any of these people will be able to be together at the end but I can't see Mew not going back really.

I thought it might be a girl in drag actually. They sort of look like Aye from the side no?

Either way I hope they fuck. Let Sand get some Only Friends! Everyone else is!

So I do feel bad saying I don't see it still. I do think that maybe there's a chance for friendship there, but the problem I really have is that Sand is too spineless with Ray and Ray is too selfish on the whole. Ray will never value Sand because Sand doesn't stick to his convictions with Ray.

If I'm wrong I hope that the drama does it in a way where I can feel it makes sense. I'm not beyond that, lol.

I once joked that if the show ended in RayMew I would give it a rating of 1 lol. But I'll take anything so long as it feels earned.

Sand - I fucking hope so. If he's going to break his own heart over Ray he might as well also get enough money to pay off his bike, go to that rock festival he's been saving up for, and pay off his mom's debts. Maybe if he's lucky he can also get Ray's daddy to swing his lingering college fees (I do not think that he is because that would make him too interesting AND make him as bad as Ray in his own way and they seem to want to keep him resting on pathetic but damned if I don't want it. This dude is my favorite in spite of the shit I'm talking right now but god I wish he were more petty)

Boston - whatever I love him other people can suck it. I have never thought he was the "villain" and I still don't - he's living his life by his rules and his rules aren't the same as everyone else's and he knows it, but it's not like he's out here pretending to be a good person either.

Mew - I feel for him because he's spiraling and as you say, in the end the person he's gonna hurt most is himself. He got a cold hard dose of reality when he was living in a fantasy bubble and now he's making it his mission to pop all the other bubbles he can. I can respect that.

Ray - what a selfish asshole. I'm not mad about this ep but that preview? My dude, when you get the thing you always wanted you don't go back to the distraction all pissed that he's daring to mess with someone else. Get it together loser.

Might be a little convoluted but we've *seen* Sand do this shit before when he's pissed, and if it happens *after* Ray pulls his "I can date Mew and keep you on the backburner but you can't even make out with your Freddie Mercury soul twin at a party as a treat" shenanigans, I can see Sand doing it out of pure spite.
