this was my second try. I watched it when it was airing, and just yesterday, I remembered why I did not continue with it, because of the cheating plot.
I might pick this up again in the future, but not any time soon :) Thanks for your words though. I will contemplate on it some more ;)
It took me 5 tries for me to get past the first episode of Run On, which turned out to be one of my favorite dramas of all time. My Mister could turn out like that for me as well :)
hahahhaa, me too. I always find something to continue this dialogue with you.
Hmmm, well, they tend to have bigger expressions, they are not worried about getting wrinkles and have funny expressions in front of the camera. You can also notice that they exaggerate a lot (specially when it is a live action of a manga or anime). I have a friend who loves anime but does not watch live actions because she gets too distracted about it. Well, I think it might only applies to the majority of people around me, and can be untrue for the rest of the population.
yeah, I think weird can also point to their sense of humor which can be a cultural thing. One need to have a degree of exposure to it for to find it funny also (applicable to any culture, really...) hhehehe.
I think media is very powerful as it is very influential. Each culture has a dark side and it is the responsibility of the viewers/parents to hold accountable of whatever they consume. Before, zombies and thriller are not my thing, but rom-coms can be quite repetitive, and so I delve in to these genres, and also because I became older that is why I can handle and enjoy these genres already. The content ratings are actually very helpful and I use that as a strong reference in picking a series/movie/anime :)
let's just make these as spoilers as we are obviously not talking about Smile, You anymore. heheheh.
Mangas donโt shy away from cheating and huge age gaps.. ๐ I know this so I tend to stay away from them, and rewarding enough, I would stumble now and then on enjoyable family dramas. I had quite a good drama experience with jdoramas lately :) unique and refreshing, but not weird ๐
this might be the reason why jdoramas are always a hit or miss for me. Kdrama has been often on the safe side and would like to cater to the audiences needs. Jdoramas on the other hand have a very wide variety that I end up either liking it or not, there is no in between for me in jdoramas. Most of what I like, I finish it because I genuinely like them and would recommend to others in a heartbeat.
As for kdramas, there are truly pros and cons in what they are doing. I just hope that this will not hinder potential writers and drama/movie makers just because it is outdated and considered risky. :D

Any last words?? hehehe. Thanks for the time.
Thank you MDL for creating these sections where I can have a more solid image of the writers beyond their writings.

I would have loved to watch this while it was airing. I think I was too late :)
Your comments/ reviews are very helpful :D
I appreciate it.
See you around MDL..
I honestly wanted to try this out but then your comment made me think otherwise. Also considering that 2009 can have many outdated themes already :)

do you think, him being the middle child among sisters contributed how he turned out to be?
