what would I have done if I was in JunYoung's shoes...?Disclaimer: I copied-pasted this from my disqus.
it's easy to see the black and white when you are a 3rd person.. JY character analysis (this is not to defend her or excuse her rude actions): It was easy to become a good person when you are in a good condition, but when the situation is beyond control, comes out the true you that was built up along the years. We knew that JY was the golden child since young. She caught the attention of everyone around her and even the whole nation at her prime. She might have not been used to with failures (in contrast, she might have overcome failures because of her strong identification of being an athlete but beyond that, she was just an empty hell). The good things she had in life was because she was a prodigy. She assume and has strong conviction that her family, her friends, her lover and her life was because she was an athlete. This identity has not separated with her since, and when it happened, she did not know how to cope up. She felt pathetic and felt scared that her family, friends and her whole identity were all lost together with the injury.
So back to the question, would I have done what PJY did?
YooMin is a refreshing character. She maybe seen as a pushover, but it could also be her passion. She might clingy,…
while the other characters are greatly affected by the past, YooMin is mostly affected of it in the present because she was never related to the accident in any way, yet because of being involved with JungHwan, the past that she can never be included will only weigh her down. The only thing she can do is to continue believing that they (specially JungHwan) to move on.
She maybe seen as a pushover, but it could also be her passion. She might clingy, but it could also be her honesty. She acts according to JungHwan's actions but is also unwavered by it. She believes that JungHwan can move on from his ex and can find love in her again. She believed not only in JungHwan, but also on herself.
She is the closest that can get to the accident (solely because of her interaction with JungHwan) but is still clearly a stranger to the issue.
Tbh i think writer don't know about character development like everyone is literally pain in neck here not a single…
sad but true. I was actually thinking that they could have done better. But I will stick to it for a little longer hoping for some character development :)
Saw some short video clips of her acting and she is really good. Although there are no projects of her that I really like yet... So I am hoping and looking forward to future roles she would be portraying :)
the cameos, the crossovers, and the not-newer osts (10cm and lee hong ki to mention a few) are some of the things that made me excited for this weekly :D
:(

If you think about it, they might be around that age when the accident happened - TaeYang and Jun Young :D
