The boys chatting while drinking soju. I don’t know if it was consoling, but it was definitely a scene that…
When you talk to people who you are close to, you are not conscious how you can hop from one topic to another smoothly. But through MLN, we get to be aware how our daily conversations are in a third person perspective, and this was very refreshing for me who is not very good at holding long conversations :)
do adults feel sad too?? When their mothers are gone??
We see GiJeong cry everyday, get emotional easily and was mostly affected by the death. But this also has become the key in letting TaeHoon’s daughter slightly open up to her.
I cannot comprehend fully the father’s teary eye. Was it: - regret of some sort? - anger at fate? - pity that she died early and before him? - love and affection towards her late wife?
But one thing I am sure, he was emotional enough to grieve properly, although he was the least aggressive in expressing.
Yeom Mi Jeong: *Paying the debt of his ex *Temporary employee *At bad terms with boss who later did her more dirt by saving her name to have an affair with her friend *stood up for herself which made her get a loan for compensation
I, too, would have a personality like hers if I was in her situation. 😅
I really like how the writers connect one scene to another. Every scene contributes and builds up to the other.
In this particular scene, the father was reminiscing Chang Hee in a race, and few hours after, they were having a race..
Another was when Mr.Gu gives out name to his assistant, and then calling him Yeom Mi Jeong.. later in the episode, Mi Jeong’s name was registered as the officemate the boss was having an affair with.
I really want to live, even for just a day with a brain who can write these stuffs.
I really thought that she will appear pregnant when she said she needed to lose some weights. But then, we are down to 2 episodes, so we don’t need that extra drama. Heheheheh
i love it that you just need to eat together to belong in the family - a theme for most kdrama.
And true enough, mr. Gu has been a part of the family. He left a great hole upon his leaving, but also, he took in him a great part of the Yeom family :)
Not the best story out there and definitely there are dramas with better dialogues, but this has reached my deepest emotions. It has touched me like never before. I could watch and listen to them for hours..

The introvert and extrovert.
But in front of the casket of their mother they are equal and of no difference.. they are both human and just a child :’)

makes me wonder if his story can be in real life, or writer-nim is just have a wild imagination who can write these diverse characters..

The wait is all worth it

Thank you for all the people behind this masterpiece :)
A perfect depiction yet again of there are a few things going on but at the same time, a lot going on.
But commendation in writing it in a unique and real portrayal. :)
Another great drama portrayal about death in the replied spoiler :)
