i thought that after rewatching this, I will finally get over this, but listening to the playlist today, gives me the urge to rewatch the whole series for the nth time.

I just clicked this randomly and thought Shirahama Yuto was the mainest lead (although I am aware of the trio from the start). It was only until the middle of the series that I realized that Naoya's character might be more than who I thought he was. I was then heavily convinced in the last 2 episodes and finally confirmed it reading the summary here in MDL.

I really want more main lead who are like him :) I find myself anticipating what he does and say :D

I would say that this created a spark in me, just like how naoya did for the whole group, to finally move forward with life. I was particularly stuck and fearful of a lot of things , specially of the thought that what is waiting for me on the other side is harder to bear.. but seeing this drama made me want to see what happens next while doing what I can do at the moment :)

I was actually in the mood for another cdrama, when I clicked this in my frustration of not finding one that interest me, and viola, I finished this jdorama in 2 days! So grateful for this, just what i expect from a jdorama (I am the "stop once I lose interest" watcher and not the "finish it once started" kind) so this has really get well with me as an audience, the right amount of tension, feels and cliffhangers to perk my interest until the last episode. The characters are truly memorable. I avoided spoilers at all cost so I really was in the ride of guesses if ever they get back to the present or if someone dies among the main. I reflect emotions of whoever is in the screen at the moment - hopeful if it is shirahama and ready to be disappointed if it is naoya. Also, there were definitely character development there but they still stayed true to who they were in the first episode but with more finding the best version of who they are.

Kato might be my favorite just because I want to be with him if I am in that situation. heheheh. I really thought he died and thoughts came rushing how will the rest of the group go on from there without him.. hahahha. Also, because he said something within this line, and he was the first but some characters said it in different wording but of the similar meaning - to do what you can do, now (along with the message of continue living and moving forward with life).

that "I don't have a girlfriend" revelation and "have you found someone that you like?" question can be that concrete conclusion that sora and hikaru has eventually end up together. subtle but that is what we need for now.. although I will also be content if they will stay friends like aoi and gon :D

wrote this after rewatching episode 9, then realized something after watching the final episode..

we have deviated so much from the title "uchi no musume wa kareshi ga dekinai," because it feels like, all these episodes were a showcase of harem for the mother which the title would have been "my mother does not have a lover" instead.. hahha

But after rewatching this, I think mom's relationship would be a foreshadow of what sora and hikaru would be in the future. I personally hope that if they won't end up together in the future (according to my poor memory that we don't have a concrete conclusion to the hikaruxsora ship...), there is bright future that their friendship would last a lifetime like aoi and gon :D

Choi Woong and Kook Yeon Soo: genius chemistry since THe Witch. heheheh

definitely for a binge watch because the thriller genre is no joke :D

most often, I prefer to be immersed, and be able to separate actors with the characters they play.. that way, I can move on to their next role..

I am not sure if this is a good or a bad thing, but I just cannot seem to see past beyond Sarang and Gu Won as characters. all I can see is Yoon Ah and Jun Ho as actors.. it seems like I am watching we got married, hahaha, instead of a rom com drama. I think I am looking at their everyday lives, like in a variety show.

When Gu Won smiles, I will squeal while uttering Lee Jun Ho's name. And when Sarang is very relatable, I would also silently scream my lungs out Yoon Ah's name..

It is either, that is so bad and my brain is rejecting it to be immersed in the story or, it is so good that my brain is playing tricks with how realistic their relationship could be in real life..
Let's see how this unfolds for me.. :)

definitely my cup of tea to rewatch - a comically chaotic slice of life.

I don't usually do rewatch because the anxiety of watching characters going through the same dilemma, but with this drama, I watch without worries :)

very convenient that I still see my last comment last year without clicking load more comments - so this is my "rewatching it again after a year" ;)

I will miss the couple, the family and the people from la blanche. Ayaka was always beautiful and was at her peak at the last episode. I really appreciate the visuals that is giving me weekly dose of vitamin C (see)
