I love how this shows different things in relationships.. 1. having a crush that screams youth that has fantasies about romance (u-ri) 2. early relationship and wanting the best for the other all the time (jinho) 3. how marriage is different from dating (yujung) 4. how to move on from a relationship that did not work (bora) 5. slightly on divorce which also can be linked to break ups :)
this drama series is reaching wider audiences because you can pick one you relate to the most while enjoying other perspectives too :) this is fantasy, sprinkled with reality but definitely fiction :) and should I bring up destiny for debate? heheheh
many are mad at yuri at this point but I am so excited to see her full get up in that wedding dress. I really find the actress pretty since the first episode, and seeing a a glimpse in the preview had me anticipating of bo ra in a wedding dress tooooooo. *cross fingers
wanting to analyze more of her character... We were not shown the extent of YuRi-SuHyeok relationship, except for a bit of flashback. It was not so vivd and impactful as the BoRa-Ju Hwan's case. All we know is that she was patient with him and he was the bad guy for the most part. Fast forward, I think that in the bar scene, where the fiancé saw her with another man crying and yet did not have any ounce of doubt is the moment that made her realize that this is what she needs to be happy. The care that he shows and the reassurance he gives. I want to believe she had finally a peace of mind to choose to finally marry him and be able to love him more than she did for su hyeok :)
One last thing, In my opionion, the sorry part was because she knew the weight of breaking up with him during the day they broke up because she finally knew how su hyeok's heart was even in his scarce words. there were lingering feelings that if she were more patient.. but of course, we knew that it really was for the best and it happened in the perfect time, which is why su hyeok was more thankful than sorry. :)
rooting for Yu Ri!
Hoping for all the broken hearts, broken relationships. You may not be able to mend it with the other party, but I hope we can restore our peace of mind and be able to trust and love again. And this is not limited to romance but also friendship and family :)
it is getting better at every episode, but I also cannot help but be anxious of the downfall that the writers…
I made a poor choice of words there, but what I want to say is, my personal and biased expectation of upcoming misunderstandings and angst they might serve just to keep things going to fill in the remaining episodes :) but I really hope the fluff will keep going until the end, and because they did exemplify good communication between them, so I think we are still safe for one more episode.. :)
"Then watch me go to hell." There's a statement I would never know would sound quite romantic ~I thought Ep. 3…
it is getting better at every episode, but I also cannot help but be anxious of the downfall that the writers might be crafting after serving us with 98% fluff. hehehehe
The most cutest thing in this week's episode is that scene where Togo finds out that the souvenir Ayaka gave her…
it's like finding out that your crush might also have a crush on you and it was not unrequited after all. hahaha, and also because he arrived from that conversation with kamiyama, I could just imagine victory was vibrating to his whole body. hahahahha.
It's almost midnight at my place. Usually, I watch at 1.75 speed, but because I just love their expressions so much, that I put it into normal speed, so I can read it so fast and still leave time to savor each crease and those cute little sound effects. hehheehe. the serving of visuals in this drama just screams expensive and elegant.
also, even though Togo is the priority, but when Koji is in the screen, I cannot help it to rewind 10 seconds back to also see Koji's face properly :D
So I think I read the manga, but I am not sure because there are a lot of things that I don't remember that are in the live action. And even though I read the few early chapters, my memory is playing with me.
reassuringly, they are both great in their own ways.
I was so worried about kamiyama and the mother-in-law to take up half of the time screen, but this episode was such a relief. I hope that it will stay that way.
Togo and Ayaka went into a relationship because they are the only ones who can be at par with each other. and even though their videos are fake, but the day to day lives are becoming a solid testament to how they are the perfect match (referencing to the souvenir).
We still have 6 episodes more to go, but I am already anticipating rewatching it soon enough (given that it will be a happy ending) :)
I still need to wait for a month..
let's go!
1. having a crush that screams youth that has fantasies about romance (u-ri)
2. early relationship and wanting the best for the other all the time (jinho)
3. how marriage is different from dating (yujung)
4. how to move on from a relationship that did not work (bora)
5. slightly on divorce which also can be linked to break ups :)
