Age gap? In the early episodes, we see the FL having flashback with a fire panic scene set in a school and ML had Ina during the time of fire.. Could that be related? 🔥 Can someone make estimations of their ages?
Now I cannot stop thinking that the florist deserves to be paid in one of the coming episodes for the flowers that Gwi Ju accidentally took with him to the past 🤣
I think that just as the spiderman quote, the powers are to be used for others instead of personal gain which the Bok family is obviously not applying. The mother making use of dreams to accumulate wealth. ML, avoiding an unfavorable time to relieve a good time. He did this when he was disciplined by her mom, and he declared it during Ina's birth that he'll return when ina is in her rebellious stage. Sister is taking advantage of her powers to be the most graceful among her peer models and in expressing ecstasy so much that she could fly.
They are not utilizing nor thinking how these powers can help others.
FL is good with words, she is the main character as Grace says. She makes sure that the people around her is comfortable and let their guard down easily. And she uses this natural talent to deceive and scam others.
So the atypical family describes the Bok family because of their powers, but also fit perfectly with the descriptiom of the FL's family dynamic.
Do Da Hee is equally paying good for every bad deed she is doing to the Bok family. She drugs the mom, but she is dreaming again. She doesn't bat an eye in using ina to earn brownie points from Gwi Ju. But the dad and daughter are slowly opening up and moving on together. Grace is deliberately getting in Dong Hee's nerves but this might benefit her of finally realizing that the boyfriend is good for nothing. Uncle acting as a stalker to get dirt from the family, but also might be an actual guardian angel who watches over them (i might be crossing the line here already. Hahahah). And that is why I cannot just dismiss the FL to be good or bad, but also cannot excuse her for anything. Let's just see how the writers will play this out. :)
As much as I dislike Gyuri, I cannot hate this girl. He mother wanted her to be the future CEO of their entertainment company. And this girl is slyly doing extracurricular related to this, selling entertainment but in a more complicated way 🤣😂😅 And she confronted her parents at the final episode, as if doing business with them.
This girl is going to places. I sincerely am hoping good things for her in the future.
Another thing, is the less change of camera angle. It makes me focus more on the conversation and be aware of the surroundings, noticing how serious the air is, contrast to just shoving the camera to one's face. But I think they have proper uses to it in another context too.. :)
This kind of storytelling.. They started with discussing about this particule social issue, and showed us just that. Along the way, it gave us what the speakers in that conversation mean, and did not fail to show us the perspective and consequence of the choices of the people directly involved. It was like the story revolved around Min Hee, yet she is a secondary character in here because it tackles a much bigger topic than the likes of her, and that is the social issue itself that they were discussing prior.
Because I am at a point in my drama journey where my top priority has become how did it hook my attention each episode to actually make me want to finish it. It made us invest so much of the character named Oh Jisoo and no matter what was happening, we were made to root for him immensely. He was flawed, his situtaion is unfortunate, his family was a wreck, and came gyuri who is on a different scale but has mirrored the same catastrophe.
This is what built up their chemistry which was powerful enough to create danger and disaster. Although this kind of business will likely cause thousands of lives.. :)
Enjoyed this in a very serene way, I am just curious how Oji and BaeGyul will continue their lives :)
Edit: thank you everyone who replied :)
The answer has been given. Just click from the spoilers

As the eldest among 4 main characters in extracurricular, she showed wisdom and experience both in the field and life (behind the scenes videos)
She feels like a great friend to be with in real life :)
